Hi I rlly liked ur fic "How You Illuminate (In a Profound Way)" and the dynamic you set up between breakdown and the Terrans, I thought it was soooo cute, I like the nickname breakdown has for twitch "red" is so good and so fitting for him, so I was wondering if I could use that in my own works as well ! (with credit ofc)

I don’t see a problem with this! I also don’t feel like I need to be credited for a nickname because I know many people have similar ideas and I’m probably not the first to use it lol. Glad you like that fic though and I promise it’ll get finished eventually! Happy writing :)

Snippet!

Sorry it's been a minute since I've posted! Life's gotten really busy, but I've had some free time lately so! Here's something for Lean on Me, Feed on Me (E) Chapter 5!

He could smell Bee now, but it wasn't the same. The smell of his leave-in conditioner was still there, but under that Breakdown could smell his sweat, the fact that it'd been at least two days since he last showered, and still under that was Bee's blood. It smelled as alluring as ever, and it made Breakdown sick. He knew Bee had given him permission—practically begged him—to feed from him, but Breakdown couldn't do it. He couldn't shake the feeling that he might not be able to stop. It didn't matter either way. In a few days, it would all be over. Breakdown wasn't going to tell Bee his true feelings nor his true intentions, because it would just cause Bee more pain, and Breakdown had done enough damage. It was hurting him that Bee was avoiding him, but he knew he probably deserved it. It's payback for all the times I ditched him, Breakdown thought. He didn't try seeking him out, but when Bee was around and he made an excuse to leave when Breakdown showed up, Breakdown had to admit that it hurt a lot. In truth, Breakdown wasn't sure if he should leave Bee alone or try to spend as much time with him as possible. It was almost time for the spell, and when it was all said and done, Breakdown knew it would hurt Bee. He was strong, he'd move on. He'd get over it and live a life of ease and freedom without the weight of Breakdown always holding him back or dragging him down. Breakdown leaned down and—against his better judgement—pressed a light kiss to Bee's forehead. Bee barely stirred. Breakdown left the room like he'd never been there at all.

The two 'Cons had their hands up to their audials, like they were receiving a message. They looked at each other and left without firing even a last warning shot. Bee thought it was odd, but he needed to get out of the building, so he didn't push his luck. He was making his way downstairs, not stopping to even check on anyone, his yellow legs a flurry as he ran. Then, a deafening sound and the building shuddered violently. Bee stumbled, but he caught himself on a wall. "Status report," Bee commed. "What just happened?" His comm squealed, and he twisted his head as if to get away. He commed again, but only got broken static. "Eva—possible—peat—evacua—" Scrap, Bee thought. They rigged it, of course they did.

I'm taking on the challenge of Breakbee week and tomorrow starts it so ! Here is a little snippet of Day One (Prompt: Firsts/Lasts)

"What's it to you?" Bee sat up to look up at the bot. He was blue and white with a red stripe down his chest plate. His red face might have been handsome if Bee hadn't been so preoccupied with more important things. The bot's yellow optics were narrowed at Bee, but he didn't look annoyed. He looked curious. His optics, Bee noted, we unlike anything he'd ever seen before. Of course, he'd seen that color, but there was something different about his cellmate's. The intensity of his stare. "I've been alone in this cell for over a hundred stellar cycles. I'd appreciate it if you were a kind enough cellmate to make this adjustment easier for the both of us." He flashed Bee a charming smile, denta a shiny white. Bee scowled. "Don't worry, I'll be out of here soon enough." "Right," Bee's cellmate said. "Keep it down for the time being." Bee sighed. He'd never been too good at keeping quiet.

Surprise Bonus Snippet!

Hello anyone waiting on How You Illuminate (G) to be updated! I know it's been over a year and there were a couple reasons as to why I took a break from it, but! There is a long awaited update coming soon :)!!!

“I’ve been telling him this forever! I’m so glad someone thinks the same way I do,” Breakdown explained. “But that’s also not his fault. I blame Optimus Prime for that.” Nightshade’s eyes widened. “You probably shouldn’t say that,” they said, looking away from their project. “I don’t mean it to be mean,” Breakdown said. “I just mean that he forgot how to be a kid because of how Optimus treated him. We don’t really have ages like humans do, but we have levels of maturity. Bee had to mature so much faster under Prime’s command. He tries so hard for his approval, and he ends up acting like the old commander.” Nightshade continued to look away from their project, not even looking at Breakdown. “Look,” Breakdown said. “I get that it was a war, but I doubt Prime has even noticed how much he messed Bee up. And the other Autobots don’t even notice! Bee is either on the same level as them, or a kid, they can’t have it both ways and they need to stop treating him like some young soldier, when he’s accomplished so much.” A deep voice from behind Breakdown startled him out of his rant. A familiar deep voice. “Aw scrap,” Breakdown muttered, before turning around to see Bee standing right next to Optimus Prime.
