This one really hurts. Anthony Head had that rare kind of presence that made a character feel warm, sharp, funny, and quietly heartbreaking all at once.

Giles will always be special to so many of us.

Dinosaur officially closed down today. This was my favorite ride in all of Disney World, the first time I rode it as a kid I was instantly in love. I love the movie, I loved the ride, I rode it as many times as I could every time I visited Disney with my family. We eventually stopped going, and I didn’t get to go again for over 10 years until this past September when I went for my birthday specifically to ride Dinosaur one more time before it closed. The ride holds a lot of sentimental value for me and although it isn’t truly going away, it will not be the same.

I’m so incredibly disappointed in Disney for taking the dinosaurs out of Animal Kingdom. The park will never really be the same for me again.
