Okay the last two posts about this little fella went through the roof. So here are some hugs and wet puppy-kisses to all of you! Thanks also to the ones who gave helpfull tips on how to keep your dog cool in summer.
Relaxing in the shadows.
Or maybe he is hiding from the sun. What do you guys do to help your dogs cool down?
Shade! Walks in the early morning and late evening, when it’s cooler.
Water! Filling the kiddie pool with cool water, ice cubes, and throwing treats into the pool so she has to wade in and fish them out. Zukes, kibbles, frozen peas, carrot slices, whatever.
Cooler hikes! Picking routes that are densely covered with evergreen stands, or include creeks or rivers or lakes, for cooling off toes. Packing water bottles full of ice cubes, so that as they melt, the water is always cold.
Fans and air-conditioning! Why the hell not.
Brushing! Get any useless undercoat out.
Trick training! Maybe we don’t need to go on the usual 45-60 minute daily stroll around the neighborhood - maybe zipping through the weave poles into a kiddie pool full of ice, and 10-15 minute bursts indoors of trick training will suffice on a humid and hot and awful day.
Thank you @quichehound will try these Things with Eddy.

He looks like a big cloud of floof hiding in the grass. I cant get over his big round eyes and that sweet smile!
She loves eggs so much and yet she eats them in the most disgustingly delicate way.
Look at those little grey haired lips!!
Playtime! On saturday Eddy and I visited my best friend and went on a long walk with Eddy and their dog Kasper. It was a bit chaotic at first, but went quit well. On sunday my aunt and uncle came over with their Briard - girl Flisca. The only thing she wanted was to play, but she was a bit too enthusiastic and wild for Eddy.
The cold weather doesn't bother you, when you have a thick furry coat Sadly I dont have one. It is still very cold over here.
Look who's finally in his element again. He got excited when we went out this morning and did not want to come back inside after playing in the snow. He really loves this weather.
He will always find you when playing hide and seek! He still looks so small.. My forever puppy <3
I think someone does not want to get into his crate in the back of the Car. Normally He jumps right in, but today seemed to be a nope-Day.
We discovered a vernal pool!
I dunno, bu something about Quiche reminds me of Steve Irwin. Especially this picture. Discovering new interesting things and being all muddy and wet, but happy to be one with the nature.
I like it!
I have Eddy over for the week bc my Mom is on vacation. We started our weekend yesterday with watching TV together. He was quit occupied. There were dogs and cats to see.
Peek a boo!! Let the door open and Eddy came to see what I was up to. Since removing make up and brushing teeth did not seem interessting enough, he left.
We took the lit off of my nephews sandbox and filled it with water, so that Eddy could bath a bit. He does not like it. He goes into it, takes his toy and immediatly leaves. He does like the river though. I dont understand this fluffer :D
Today we had an encounter with the vacuum cleaner. Little fluffball was scared of that ferocious beast. Had to hide under the couch table. Poor thing.
They grow up so fast.. He isn’t hiding anymore, but is still not fond of the loud thing we clean with.
All in all Eddy is a cautious little guy. He is still shy and likes females more than male people.
