Jane loves marmosets! She loves primates and monkeys in general, but marmosets are just so tiny and adorable that Jane can’t get enough of them. She’s even been able to hold one once and it was one of the highlights of her life.
Giiiirl I need a lore drop on if any of the Real Housewives OC’s get to fighting with each other and why it would happen pretty please 🥰
@angelique-of-the-volturi-guard
Got your ask on @multifandomfix and transferred it over here just to keep things better organized.
Beverly Hills: Joey and Rayna do not get along. They can be civil, generally, but the way Sutton and Erika needle at each other definitely affects Joey and Rayna’s (lack of) friendship. In fact, Joey and Rayna are more adversarial than Sutton and Erika, so when Sutton and Erika are getting along, they button up and play nice, but they never truly like each other. Additionally, Tiffany is a bit of a pot stirrer. If she sees a little friction in the group, she’ll want it addressed, just to see if it’ll spiral out of control.
Dallas: Sloane and Rory don’t really fight unless D’Andra and LeeAnne are in a fight. Otherwise, they’re usually pretty good friends themselves.
New York: Mostly a tight knit friend group as well. They’re like a support group for each other in handling their respective girlfriends. Nina and Joni got into it once over something LuAnn said about Dorinda. Their fight was almost worse than Lu and Dorinda’s, but they eventually patched things up. Vienna likes to stir things up now and again, but it doesn’t usually get too deep.
Orange County: Chrystal and Clare occasionally get into it. They have vastly different life philosophies, so arguments are inevitable. Chrystal is very go with the flow/trust the universe, and Clare likes practical thinking, plans and organization. Alicia doesn’t have time for conflicts because she’s trying to keep Vicki out of them.
Style/Clothing: She’s always impeccably put together, but never flashy. She’s understated in her fashion choices and she loves anything timeless.
Signature Quote: “There’s a certain comfort in making someone else’s world a little easier.”
Plot Summary: Clare Kerr never expected a temporary position helping one of Orange County’s busiest women would change the course of her life. Hired by Terry Dubrow to keep Heather company while his career pulls him away from home, Clare quickly becomes far more than an assistant, slipping effortlessly into the role of confidante, organizer, shopping companion, and constant presence. As admiration quietly blossoms into love, Clare resigns herself to believing Heather could never return her feelings. But when Terry notices what Heather doesn’t—and encourages his wife to explore the unexpected connection between them—the three navigate an unconventional arrangement built on honesty, trust, and the discovery that love doesn’t always fit inside traditional boundaries.
Style/Clothing: Chrystal loves a fashion moment. She keeps it very classy. She likes mostly neutrals, but a good pop of color never hurt.
Signature Quote: “You can’t pour from an empty cup, sweetheart.”
Plot Summary: After a chance encounter leads to an unexpected connection, holistic nurse Chrystal Meyers becomes an unlikely source of comfort for a lonely Shannon Beador during the darkest days of her failing marriage. What begins as a single night born from heartbreak and revenge quickly grows into something neither woman anticipated, forcing Shannon to question everything she thought she knew about love, loyalty, and herself. As stolen moments turn into genuine intimacy, both women must decide whether the life they’ve settled for is worth risking the happiness they’ve finally found.
Plot Summary: After losing her nursing job in Mt. Pleasant, Milo Madden expected the worst day of her life to end with unemployment, not a hospital overrun by Deadites. Rescued by the cocky, chainsaw-wielding Ash Williams and reluctantly drawn into his battle against evil, Milo finds herself joining Ash, Kelly, and Pablo on what becomes their final fight to save humanity. As the war against the Deadites escalates, Ash discovers that protecting Milo means more to him than defeating monsters, forcing him to confront the terrifying possibility of once again wanting a future he’d long given up on. When evil is finally defeated once and for all, Ash and Milo are left with something neither of them expected: an ordinary life. Together, they learn that settling down, healing old wounds, and choosing love every day may be stranger, and ultimately more rewarding, than fighting demons ever was.
Style/Clothing: Milo hovers in the middle of professional and casual. Slacks, button ups and vests for work usually, and sweaters or tanks/tees with jeans when she’s not at work.
Signature Quote: “One problem at a time. The world’s ending, it can wait five minutes.”

A = Affection (How do they show affection for each other? Are they into PDA?)
Usually hand holding and sweet smiles is their primary way of showing affection, especially in a public setting, but they’ve been caught by the paparazzi stealing a kiss or two as well.
B = Best (What do they think is the best thing about their partner(s)?)
Kyle’s favorite thing about Jocelyn is her openness and the way she’s always helping her to be the best she can be. Jocelyn’s favorite thing about Kyle is her honesty. She can trust that Kyle will never keep anything important from her.
C = Communication (Do they communicate well? How often are fights or misunderstandings?)
They communicate really well. Fights and misunderstandings definitely happen, but it’s hardly ever a drawn out thing. Jocelyn is very much of the philosophy that they should talk things through and not let them simmer.
D = Domestic (Do they want a family? Kids? Pets?)
Kyle is done with having kids, though she does get that maternal urge resurfacing every once in a while. Pets are a definite yes though. Kyle loves her dogs, and Jocelyn considers them an essential part of their little family too.
E = Establish (How did the relationship begin?)
Really it began as a friendship, but the moment it shifted from that to something more was their first real kiss in Kyle’s kitchen. They’d been dancing around mutual feelings for some time before that, but that’s what made the real shift.
F = Family (How does introducing them to friends/family go?)
Pretty well. Kyle’s daughters all think Jocelyn is great, and get along with her easily enough. And of course Aiden being Jocelyn’s primary family, well it’s established that he already loves Kyle and loves her for Jocelyn.
G = Gift (Are they gift givers? Any significant or meaningful gifts exchanged between them?)
Yeah, they both give the odd gift. Mostly just birthdays and anniversaries. Jocelyn tends to get her something she knows Kyle will love, but it isn’t usually super sentimental. Kyle is the sentimental gift giver. She’ll put together a scrapbook/photo album of them, or some other elaborate thing to remind them of the memories they’ve made together.
H = Habits (What annoying or endearing habits do they have?)
Jocelyn sometimes leaves her workout clothes on the bathroom floor, often getting distracted before properly taking care of them. Kyle has this like super concentrated face when she’s scrolling through her phone that she doesn’t realize she does that Jocelyn just adores.
| = I Love You (Who said I love you first? When did they know they were in love?)
Jocelyn said it first. She knew almost from the moment Kyle walked into her life. Kyle’s revelation came much later.
J = Jealousy (Are they the jealous type? What activates their jealousy?)
Kyle has a bit of a jealous streak in her, but she tries not to let it get the best of her. When someone hangs on Jocelyn too much, really leans into a touch, she’ll get pissed and need some reassurance that it was all in her head later.
K = Kempt (Are they clean, organized? Do they help one another with daily routines? Hair, makeup?)
They’re mostly organized, occasionally it’s more of an organized chaos. Jocelyn loves to help Kyle with glam, and they always do their workout routines together.
L = Lush (Do they drink? What happens when one of them is drunk?)
Nope. Kyle is committed to staying sober, and Jocelyn may have a drink in social situations, but she hates being drunk, so she limits it to one, maybe two.
M = Meet (How did they meet? Was it cute or a complete disaster?)
It was both cute and a complete disaster! Kyle’s dog actually ran her over while Jocelyn was out on a jog. Kyle tracked her down, apologized, and the rest is history.
N = Nicknames (What pet names do they have for each other? Any unique ones?)
Kyle has a slew of cutesy pet names for Jocelyn, though most often she’ll just call her Joci. Jocelyn tends to stick to more classic pet names, but adores the ridiculous ones Kyle comes up with.
O = Outing (What was the best date they went on, or event they went to together?)
When they snuck off to a beach on St. Barts during a girls trip. The cameras were nowhere around and they got to spend some real quality time together, aside from one little paparazzi photo, it had been a perfect time.
P = Proposal (Who proposes? How?)
Jocelyn proposes. It’s a very elaborate setup with an outdoor movie projector, and a Birkin with the ring attached. Their friends are gathered to watch the moment and Kyle definitely cries.
Q = Quote (An important quote or something cute/meaningful one has said.)
Jocelyn: “You could wear a circus tent and I’d think you’re beautiful. It’s not really about the clothes at all.” This is moments before Jocelyn ends up unintentionally confessing her love.
R = Romance (Was it a whirlwind romance or more of a slow burn?)
A slow burn, for sure. There was a lot of outside factors slowing it down. So it could have been a whirlwind, and really did speed up once some of those factors were removed, but I think it still qualifies as a slow burn.
S = Sex (What's their sex life like? Any kinks they enjoy together?)
Pretty active, some slight mishaps early on. There’s nothing too kinky really, unless you count sweaty post workout sex.
T = Together (Are they the kind of couple who are always together?)
Absolutely. You’ll hardly ever find them apart. Some people say they’re codependent, but they don’t see anything wrong with spending so much time with the person they love.
U = Unconventional (Is there anything unconventional about their relationship? Something unique to them?)
Most of the circumstances of their relationship are unique. Aiden being the biggest supporter of their relationship being first and foremost, considering he’s been married to Jocelyn for years, a lavender marriage, but still.
V = Vulnerability (What's it like when they show their softer side? How long does it take them to feel comfortable with one another?)
They clicked pretty quickly and weren’t too scared being vulnerable around each other. Kyle’s softer side always melts Jocelyn any time it comes out.
W = Wedding (What would their wedding be like?)
It’s very elegant and laid back, closest friends gathered, a little surprise appearance from Storm, the dog who crashed into Jocelyn facilitating her first meeting with Kyle.
X = Xchange (In what ways do they share their lives? Sharing food? Wearing each other's clothes?)
Kyle has access to Jocelyn’s wardrobe any time she wants, and also privileges to get custom pieces from Jocelyn’s ex husband, Aiden. They pretty much share anything and everything with no issue.
Y = Yuck (How do they handle the other(s) getting sick?)
Jocelyn babies Kyle anytime she gets sick. Kyle gets pretty mama bear when Jocelyn gets sick though too.
Z = Zzz (How do they sleep? Are they cuddly? Can't sleep without the other(s)?)
Kyle is definitely a cuddly sleeper. She loves the closeness, and Jocelyn does too, except for the times when Kyle has fallen asleep on her and is cutting off circulation to an arm or a leg. She hates having to move her, but does value her limbs.

Summary: As Minnia struggles through the early months of pregnancy, she and Jaskier begin to imagine the unexpected future growing between them.

The first time Jaskier suggested they have children together, Minnia had thrown a crust of bread at his head. It hadn’t really been an inappropriate comment, just wildly inconvenient timing, considering he had somehow managed to bring it up roughly twenty minutes after feeling from a tavern brawl he’d accidentally started. Geralt had put a quick end to it, but not before Jaskier had gotten a split lip over it.
“Come on,” he’d said, grinning, then immediately wincing. “You know we’d have beautiful children.”
“Our child would be impossible.”
His grin widened and his hand went to his wounded lip. “Oh, unquestionably,” he mumbled through it.
Minnia let out a sigh as she put a warm cloth to his lip, both helping with the wound and effectively silencing him.
At the time, it had seemed like one of Jaskier’s endless impossible fantasies, filed away alongside buying a vineyard, composing his masterpiece, and getting Geralt to string together more than two sentences at a time.
Now, months after that first conversation, Minnia was kneeling beside a washbasin in a rented room above a tavern, wondering if fate possessed a particularly cruel sense of humor.
The nausea had arrived before dawn. One moment she’d been asleep, the next she’d been stumbling out of bed with a hand over her mouth. She barely made it. By the time she finished retching, her eyes watered and every muscle in her body ached.
A warm hand settled between her shoulder blades. Jaskier. He looked exhausted. His hair stuck out in several directions and one side of his face still carried the crease of a pillow. Yet he stayed beside her without complaint.
“Easy,” he soothed.
Minnia groaned. “I feel as though I’ve been poisoned.”
“That would actually be preferable.” She shot him a look, and he quickly clarified. “Only because poison is easier to cure.”
“Comforting,” she snarked.
“Sorry, I thought a joke may lighten your mood.”
“Impossible, but I appreciate that you tried.”
His hand continued slow circles across her back and the nausea eventually eased enough for her to lean back from the washbasin. Jaskier immediately offered a cup of water. She accepted it gratefully. For a moment neither of them spoke.
They’d known about her condition for several weeks now. The healer in the previous village had confirmed what both of them had already suspected. She was expecting. It still felt strange to think about, as if the whole thing were unreal and it was a dream she’d wake up from at any moment.
Minnia had spent most of her life expected to marry for a political alliance. Then she’d become a runaway. Then she’d fallen in love with a wandering bard who rarely remembered where he’d left his boots. Children had never been part of any plan she’d imagined. And yet, here they were.
“You should be sleeping,” she said.
“So should you.”
“I wasn’t exactly doing this for entertainment.”
“No?” He glanced at the basin, then back at Minna, giving him yet another disapproving glance. “I confess it didn’t look particularly enjoyable.”
She rolled her eyes. Jaskier smiled softly. The expression lacked its usual theatrical charm. This had become increasingly common since learning about the baby. Minnia still wasn’t entirely sure what to make of it. The infamous bard who flirted with half the Continent had transformed into an attentive guardian seemingly overnight.
He wasn’t perfect, certainly. He remained hopelessly scatterbrained. But he did remember every recommendation the healer had given them. He carried dried ginger in his pockets should she need it on the road. He checked whether she was tired, sometimes so frequently she thought of walloping him. He worried. Constantly. Almost excessively. It was immensely frustrating and oddly endearing.
He helped her stand. The room swayed briefly. Jaskier’s arm immediately tightened around her waist. “There. Easy now.”
“I’m fine.”
“You nearly fell.”
“I did not.” She considered arguing further before deciding she lacked the energy. Allowing him to guide her back to bed was significantly easier.
The next thing she knew, morning sunlight was filtering through the window. Normally Jaskier would already be awake, talking endlessly or frantically scribbling down lyrics that had come to him in his dreams. Today he settled beside her and tucked the blanket around her shoulders. Minnia stared.
“What?” She continued staring, not saying a word. It was beginning to unnerve him. “What,” he repeated.
“I honestly didn’t take you for such a gentleman.”
He gasped dramatically. “Madam.” His hand landed over his heart. “I am wounded.”
Minnia smiled despite herself. Jaskier reached out and brushed a loose strand of hair from her face. His expression softened.
“I know I can be foolish.”
“Can be?”
“Unfair.”
She laughed. It warmed his heart to see her happy again.
“My point,” he continued, pausing briefly for extra dramatic effect. “Is that though I may be a fool, I do take this seriously.” His gaze drifted downward briefly toward her stomach. The swell was still small, barely noticeable beneath her dress. Yet it changed everything.
The morning passed slowly. The nausea returned twice. Jaskier remained patient through both episodes. By midday Minnia found herself sitting in front of a mirror while Jaskier stood behind her, ash brown hair in his hands.
“Remind me again why you’re doing this?”
“Because,” his fingers carefully separated sections of her hair. “If you continue to be sick, at least your hair will not take the brunt of it. The landlady would not like it if we used all her water to wash vomit from your hair multiple times a day.” Then Minnia caught Jaskier smirk into the mirror. “And because I happen to possess extraordinary talent.”
Minnia raised an eyebrow. “At hair?”
“At everything.”
She snorted. Jaskier ignored her. To her surprise, he was actually quite good. His fingers moved gently through the thick hair. Years of performing had apparently taught him more than she’d expected. Or perhaps he’d simply spent enough time around noblewomen to learn by observation. Either way, the pulling and tugging she anticipated never came. Instead she felt careful hands weaving a braid. The repetitive motion proved soothing. Relaxing. For the first time all day, she felt almost normal.
“What are you thinking about,” Jaskier asked.
Minnia watched his reflection. “You.”
“A dangerous pastime,” he remarked.
“Very,” she agreed with a grin.
He smiled back, meeting her eyes in the mirror. The braid continued taking shape. Silence settled comfortably between them. Outside, wagon wheels rattled across the roadway. Someone shouted. A dog barked. Life continued as usual.
“Are you frightened,” Jaskier asked suddenly.
The question surprised her. Minnia considered lying. Instead, she answered honestly. “Yes.”
His hands paused briefly. “Me too.”
That admission somehow eased something inside her. Because of course he was frightened. Anyone would be. They had no permanent home, no steady income. Not even any certainty about where they’d be six months from now. Just each other. And somehow that had to be enough.
“I don’t know how to be a mother.”
Jaskier resumed braiding. “I don’t know how to be a father.”
“That isn’t reassuring.”
“No, wait, I had more.”
Minnia smiled. “I suspected.”
“We’ll learn.” His voice remained gentle. “We’ll make mistakes, an alarming number, I’m sure.”
“Still not helping.”
Her interjection didn’t stop him from finishing, tying off the braid with his final words. “But we’ll figure it out.”
His certainty surprised her. She reached for his hand. Jaskier immediately intertwined their fingers. His other hand rested lightly against her stomach. Minnia looked down at their joined hands. At the future neither of them had expected. A runaway princess. A wandering bard. A child growing. It wasn’t the life she’d once imagined, not even close. Yet as Jaskier leaned forward to press a kiss against her head, she found she wouldn’t have traded it for all the kingdoms in the Continent. Even if the morning sickness was absolutely awful.
