The tradition of providing gifts for birthdays was generally a nice idea. That is, if you knew what gift to pick.

Books? No, it'd be too generic. Just like flowers or candy. Elliot felt completely lost in this whole thing, especially since time pressed on and he hadn't thought up what to do for almost two weeks by now.

Tempted to start hauling snacks around Lutwidge for when these special, though not rare, occasions happen. While the threatening was a bit much, if either were actually going to take a swing, then he’d step in. For now, Leo’s an amused bystander, clearly watching the ‘show’.

The guy who clearly had no idea what he was talking about looked slightly nervous but still wearing that cocky grin on his face. Another student came up, explaining they both had to calm down.

"This is none of your business!" Elliot only responded angrily. "He better apologize right now or he won't be able to think straight for a week!"

How could such blatantly unmannerly nobles even exist? You'd think their parents would raise them right, such disregard towards a woman's dignity was simply disgusting.

Flops onto the bed, holding his hands over his eyes. What the hell even was that?

"I did NOT throw it, okay!?" he does throw the remote on the couch though, and leans back.

"I swear it was better when I was little."

He’s inclined to break up with him after seeing that.

"I TOLD you it's going to be bad!" he frantically reaches for the remote. Either it turns off or the tv will soon have something thrown at its screen.
