Knives is albino, hence why he's not tan like Vash is. The idea came to me when watching stampede because I noticed how his skin was pretty pale in comparison to his brother's. As to why Vash is tan—other than the fact that they're basically in the desert and hot ass sun everyday, ! just thought he'd look good with a warmer palette to contrast to Knives' own.

The stars on their foreheads was something I added for fun, since they're from space and all. Angel stuff, and I love giving things meaning. The little wings don't matter
