Never felt so low! This salty wonderland is an endorheic basin (a lake is a lake that doesn't drain towards the ocean) laying between two beautiful mountain ranges in Death Valley. It just so happens to be the lowest point in all North America, at 282 feet below sea level. Updated CDC Guidelines for Travel ✈️  Starting January 26th, all international travelers, regardless of citizenship status, will be required to arrive in the United States with a negative COVID-19 test.  Under these new guidelines, travelers flying to the US have to show proof of a negative viral test before boarding their flight. This test must be taken within 3 days of scheduled departure + passengers will have to show documentation to their airline.  Children under the age of 2 are exempt.
