Evening all

I know I said I was going to be posting more often and whilst I haven’t managed that so far in the last 2 weeks I do still mean it. I also said that this blog was going to change and hopefully have a theme to it now. That’s because I’ve finally flown the nest, as it were. I’ve moved out of my parents house and am now living in my very own home. I love it but it has not been easy at all. I’m hoping that this blog will help other young people that, like me, are venturing out in the world on their own. I hope this post wasn’t too cheesy or longwinded but there you go. That’s what’s happening. Also, as you might have seen I am very excited that autumn is here and pumpkin spiced everything is taking over my life. I’ll be baking on Saturday in my new oven for the first time so wish me look, I’m hoping to post some photos and an update on how that goes.

Reasons to be excited for fall

1. Not sweating your ass off 24/7 and actually getting to wear jeans, boots, and sweaters.

2. Rainy nights and misty mornings.

3. Baking nonstop and also eating nonstop cause you really don't care about your summer bod anymore.

4. Because there are nothing better than lazy fall days where you can relax with a book, blanket, and cup of tea.

5. Because there is basically just one holiday after another and it's great to see your family and be in festive mode 24/7.

6. There is nothing better than candles, and crunchy leaves, and seeing red and orange everywhere you go, and listening to indie folk, and watching horror movies, and visiting coffee shops, and buying new sweaters, and OMG I LOVE FALL.

Apologies

I haven't posted on here in a long time and for that I am sorry. A lot of crazy things have happened in the last year, and I'm sure I'll get to writing them down at some point, but for now I'm concentrating on me. This blog will probably change in the weeks to come, and I am going to make myself post at least once a week if not more. Just thought I'd post an update. Everyone stay safe.

Check in and Update.

Evening guys, I'm sorry I haven't posted anything in the last few days but I've been working late and I'm pretty sure that the cold I've had has turned into a chest infection. I don't really have that much of a tale to tell today. Took my Granny out for lunch today with The Boyfriend. I read some more of Cross Stitch this morning. I've just started part 2, but so far I love Clare and I can't wait for something to happen between her and Jamie. The part where he's holding her and she's thinking "It's no wonder he's so good with horses, If I were a horse I'd let him ride me anytime" had me rolling on the floor giggling.

Work rant and random candle review

Morning guys! This morning I'm preparing for the next three days of late shifts at my job (ugh) and I had to get up mega early so that my boyfriend could go to work. However I don't really mind because it gives me some 'Me' time before work. If any of you young 'uns are reading this, don't choose shift work. It sucks. It messes up your sleeping pattern to the point where you don't really have one, and completely obliterates your social life (unless you want to go to work with a hangover, which I don't recommend).

This morning I'm being overcome with the sent of Coffee Galore! by Lily Flame (a delightful coffee scented candle which I absolutely adore). I've never used a Lily Flame candle before (I generally go for Yankee or Woodwick when I can afford them) but I think it's fairly safe to say I'll do it again. They're easily affordable at £8.95 for a scented tin, and the packaging is very pretty. Hope you're all having fun and staying safe!

Evening all.

I don't have much of a tale to tell today. Currently sat writing this post at the breakfast bar in my boyfriend's kitchen as he cooks me steak for tea :D I always get hugs and kisses from his dogs when I come over, and they are beautiful! #BrackenandTroy. I am super looking forward to my weekend off this weekend! Will check in with you guys later :)

I am currently reading Cross Stich (Or Outlander) by Diana Gabaldon so I am hoping to post a review as soon as I am done. So far I am loving it so I recommend it to anybody :)

So this is my first blog post. This is going to be a pretty simple daily blog about my general life, ie: My insane love of candles, My owl obsession, my love of plants and flowers, and various other random crap my mind decides to spout about. If there's anything anyone wants to see me blog about do let me know. I will also try to post book reviews, so I will welcome any requests :)
