I can't say I blame her, between Hestia and Emmeline and the rest of their team, Ravenclaw's going to be hard to beat. But I'll be fine, I don't need to win her favour, -grins- dear Gwenog already loves me more than you two.
Yeah, we are gonna have to try harder this year. It's be a bonus to beat Slytherin but I'll take what I can get. [laughs] What do you mean? Has Gwenog got a thing for you, Bagman? [grins] I can see it now, kissing on broomsticks, flying through the forest together. [clutches heart dramatically] It's beautiful.

Lily laughed cheekily. “You don’t need manly names when you’re confident of yourself. I think I will start calling you cute” Now that the initial tension had completely faded, she was feeling more like herself.
She looked at the new drawing closely. It was really well done. Edgar had never told her he liked to draw. “This is adorable. You have talent. I mean, I’m no expert of course, but I think it’s really good. And the kids in the background are lovely, is the girl a redhead?” She chuckled.
Edgar smiled fondly at her. "You can call me whatever you want." He flirted, before remembering the situation and coughing awkward;y. "I mean, um, if you know." He sighed and moved the papers again.
"I've always liked drawing, and art in general. But there's none of that at hogwarts." He laughed, and gestured to the boy standing next to the red head. "I had a huge crush on you in third year."

Lily smiled feeling a little more relaxed now. It seemed like he was seriously trying to be her friend and that was somehow a relief. She remembered how hard it had been when she had broken up with Fabian. How weird things still were between them. “Edgar Cute Bones. I guess it has a ring to it” She laughed, maybe a little flirtier than she should have.
"You think?" Her emerald eyes brightened for a moment as she looked at his notes moving a little closer to him. She wrinkled her nose, a little gesture she did everytime she was really focused on something. "This is really good. You didn’t miss a single detail."
Edgar saw her physically relax and he smiled back. This was his first breakup and it didn't seem to be going horrifically, despite the dull ache in the pit of his stomach. "Not particularly manly though."
"I like to draw, but I don't really get enough time." He said, pulling out a diagram of a mandrake that he was particularly proud of. There were two children holding their ears in the background, and one of them looked suspiciously like a younger Lily.
Afternoon, Hogwarts.
-grins- You know, I think your cousin might become my new best friend, or when you run out that is. Oh bloody hell… I can just see our next practice now, neither you or Ted actually able to get off the ground, Gwenog going mad, and me watching with popcorn from the sidelines.
All you need to do is ask. [grins] and Gwenog loves us secretly, she's just hell bent on beating ravenclaw I think, poor girl. Do you really thinking eating when two of her players are obese is going to win her favour? [laughs]

Lily looked closely at the new notes and couldn’t help but laugh. “Now these are real notes Edgar Bones!” She gave him a sweet smile. “I think it’s incredibly cute that you copy them out.” She bit her lip and looked away. She knew she shouldn’t have said that.
She sighed looking at the book clearly disappointed on herself. “Flutterby bush. It’s supposed to quiver and shake but one day I got up and it was quiet, so I assumed it died”
She was so fucking beautiful when she did that, realized that she'd done something she wasn't supposed to, like a frightened child. "Cute is my middle name." He laughed jovially, trying to make her feel at ease.
"They might be preparing to flower, you may be extremely lucky." He said kindly, flicking through his notes and finding a detailed diagram he'd drawn in fourth year.
Afternoon, Hogwarts.
"You’re funny, Ed." She smiled up at him.
"It's all I've got." He winked taking a swig of the coke now.
Herbology lessons // Edgar & Lily
Lily gave him a cheeky smile and started scanning his notes. “Wow, you’re really neat. My notes are always a mess. Marlene hates me everytime she has to copy them”. She reached for the big book opened in front of them.
"So, I was having trouble with this plant here. I had to analyse their properties and somehow I managed to kill it." She shrugged becoming self -conscious for a bit and then looked at him with doe eyes. "See? I’m awful at this."
"These are my nice notes, these are my first draft." He got out a notebook full of scrawled words that were almost illegible. "I have to copy them out or I can't look at them without getting annoyed." He laughed.
"Which plant, um, is it?" He said, staring directly into her doe eyes. His mouth went dry as he quickly looked away and starting rifling through papers.
Afternoon, Hogwarts.
She leaned her head on his shoulder, “Yeah. It’s pathetic, isn’t it?”
"That's my middle name." He laughed, taking another swig of the clear liquid,

She couldn’t help but sigh with relief when Edgar finally stood in front of her with a bunch of notebooks and his stunning grin. Lily smiled at him tenderly and motioned him to sit next to her as she opened a large book.
"Hello there yourself" She greeted, still smiling. "I was born ready" She joked. "So, are you assuring me that with your help I will pass this thing? Because I don’t think that’s a promise you will want to make after you see what a mess I am."
He was once again taken aback by her unrivalled splendour. No matter what she said, she was a goddess.
"My notebooks are literally full of everything you need, trust me. I made them when I was in your year and they never change the syllabus so don't worry about it."
Herbology lessons // Edgar & Lily
Lily rushed to the library with her pile of Herbology books almost falling off her not long enough arms. She really needed help to pass the subject because that last project had been a total disaster.
She scanned the place with her eyes and found her regular table empty. It wasn’t really a surprise, she had almost claimed that spot in fourth year. Once sited she looked at the door anxiously. After all that had happened the day before, she really was starting to wonder if Edgar would show up.
The girl didn’t know what to expect of this new meeting. She knew it would be difficult to hang out with him as a simple friend, but she had to try and make things the leas awkward possible if they were going to get along. She bit her lip nervously as she started playing with her quill and waiting for him.
Edgar grabbed a few of his old notebooks with his notes from sixth year, he kept them all for revision purposes and the simple fact he enjoyed the way they looked on his desk.
He started to climb down the hufflepuff tower steps and down the corridor to the library. Nervous was an understatement, he had a hangover and his head was killing him.
"Hello there, MIss Evans." He grinned with surprising conviction. "Are you ready to get an O in herbology?"
Afternoon, Hogwarts.
"You should tell him that." She laughed, raising her bottle of vodka like him before taking another swig.
"He'd be stupid not to, sweetheart." He smiled kindly, throwing an arm round her and kissing the top of her head. "We're a pair aren't we? Mooning over loved ones."
Afternoon, Hogwarts.
She giggled, her cheeks going a bit more red, “You’re mental. I am not.”
"Well let me spell it out for you. You're kind, intelligent, funny and completely stunning. Whoever owns your heart is a very lucky man." Edgar raised his bottle it an out of place toast and took another swig.
Afternoon, Hogwarts.
She blushed slightly, “Nothing compared to Lily or Marlene or Doe. I’m the simple one.”
"I'm afraid you're one of the prettiest girls I've ever met." He sighed, with a smile. Vodka made him ballsy.
