Hi everyone! This is a brief introduction of myself! Please be warned that this post was private prior to being public since I had to make edits to my intro!
When I am done with this review center I'm attending with @puerile-treats I can guarantee for fucks sake that I'm gonna fuck over my sleep schedule again.
I forget I have this app sometimes. This brings me back to that one post I made where I said I had a life now which technically I'm not wrong but damn.💔
Chat I'm so sorry for deleting my TTOSNHA Noli me Tangere and El Filibusterismo the musical series, I just realized it didn't fit well with the actual plot I'm writing in a doc💔
Before we delve deeper into the lore, despite this containing lore already, I wanna talk about rewritten mechanics about the Endings of the rewrite when it comes to the endings.
You'll have the titles, dialogue, the explanation of the ending and how it affects everything.
In game endings↓
True ending — You are loved.
>>“Good job there! You made it to the end of the school year with more friends than ever and everyone loves you!”
Basically, this is the canon route, you make it to the end by helping students, gaining their trust going against the antagonists and watching them be happy and grateful for your intervention.
This ending reflects on how much good you did to others and recognizes you as a hero to them, you wrote your story by your heroic and helpful nature, everyone loves you because you loved them first and someone loves you for what you did and your kind personality.
Good ending — You tried your best, that's what counts.
>>“Though you didn't establish a lot of relationships, some students still like you and rely on you, you rely on them too.”
In this route, you didn't do enough to get the true ending but you did enough to not be recognized as a monster or a nobody, students praise you for your devotion to helping.
A lot of students debate to talk to you however, not wanting to bother you, but that's okay, they managed alone eventually, but maybe things could've changed if you intervered.
Bad Ending — Misery.
>>“Well, you made it to the end of the school year, that's one thing to be proud of. I hope making students and staff miserable was worth it though, then you'd have two things to be proud of.”
The opposite of the good ending route, basically you helped the antagonists or became the antagonist in other people's story, striking fear into those who glanced your way.
You ruined the lives of the many innocent students for selfish gain of other people, there was no good in your heart, you're remembered as a monster and no one comes to trust you anymore, you're a wolf who abandoned the sheep skin and sank your teeth into the skin of the unknowing.
Worst ending — Jigoku.
>>“Gee, how'd you end up in hell? Well, I guess that's heavily deserved, you were a monster and I don't blame anyone if you're spending the rest of your afterlife in hell.”
Basically, the worst ending is opposite of the canon route, where you were such an awful person that when you died, you were judged for your sins and your virtues, your sins weighed more on the scale than your virtues.
The judge found you guilty and condemned you to spend your eternity in hell, where you're sent to the darkest pits where the flames burn the hottest.
Neutral ending — A ghost.
>>“Well, you went through the year as a social recluse, no one really knows you nor do they care about you, when someone asks about you, they ask who you even are.”
In this ending, you basically went through the school year doing absolutely nothing but minding your own business, watching issues unfold and watching conflicts rise, maybe you were too shy to stand up for what was right or just never had the thought to make the issue worse.
Either way, the issues get solved, some weren't as lucky however you think to yourself as you quietly sit at a bench in your school's courtyard, thinking to yourself if things could've been different in the lives of others where you actually did something.
Neutral ending — We hardly knew you.
>>“You... You decided that this school wasn't made for you?! What the hell?! Your parents spent so much for you to just... Drop out?!”
This ending is pretty easy to obtain, you get two options during the school tour, among the two choices(“Begin the day.” and “Ehh... This school isn't for me.”), you decide that Sakura nō Hana Academy was not for you and you decide to drop out after the school tour.
Anyone but your childhood friends barely knew you, and then those friends begin to barely know you too as they make more friends that keep in contact with since you hardly ever reached out and they didn't wanna make it awkward if you changed over time.
Event endings / Secret endings↓
Christmas ending — Happy holidays!
>>“So, you decided play this game mode for the holidays huh? Seems you do have some holiday spirit in you after all.”
Basically, this is ending is only available during the Christmas season, ranging from Nov. 20 until Dec. 28, this game mode is playable all year around but you can only obtain the ending during the stated dates, sadly you'd have to wait until the end of the year but you're allowed to visit the game mode to practice, like the actual game, there's also lore in connection, you decide why not join in on the festivities, however this does not connect to the actual lore, it just implies that it is.
This game mode includes fun mini games such as snow ball toss where you can compete against others and the last man standing wins, or Bake off where you challenge the cooking club to a bake off on who makes the best cookies, the difficulty will vary depending on who you're going against, Saki being the easiest and Shoku being the hardest to go against, there's more such as a scarf knitting contest against the sewing club, Otohiko being the easiest to go against and Hiroshiko being the hardest to go against, or Namahage hide and seek with the occult club, where you hide against Shin who acts as Namahage, who serves as the Japanese version of Krampus.
Halloween ending — Tricks and treats!
>>“During the scariest time of the year, you decide to do what most people do, dress up in a costume and go around asking for candy or getting tricked, seems like fun even at your age.”
Like the Christmas ending, the Halloween ending is only available during the Halloween season, ranging from Oct. 23 until Nov. 10, this game mode is playable all year around but you can only obtain the ending during the stated dates, sadly you'd have to wait until the Halloween but you're allowed to visit the game mode to practice, much like the Christmas game mode, there's also lore but not overly connected, just implies that there's significance.
This game mode consists of ghost hunting with the occult club, pumpkin carving with the art club where like the bake off game in the Christmas game mode with the cooking club, the difficulty varies with the student you're up against, Eiko being the easiest and Geiju being the hardest to go against, one more game pumpkin sweep against the whole sports club, whoever sweeps the most pumpkins to their corner wins.
Secret ending — The history of Sakura nō Hana academy.
>>“Not sure how you came across this but good job, you're smarter than you were five minutes ago now, I guess.”
While skimming through some books in the library, you find a letter written by the father of Megami Saikou to the father of one of your seniors in the third year class, upon reading the letter you learn the history of how the rise and fall of the former headmaster came to be, the horrors of the thing they called a night patrol, mandatory for 2-3 members of the student council to stay until 7:30PM after everyone else went home, everyday.
It seems the father of your senior decided to bury this deep into the past and would rather not dwell on it, that's why he never brought the letter home, and instead buried the words and the apology of Megami's father into an old yearbook, maybe your senior's father had nightmares about that day that he would not outwardly speak of, you find out how the headmaster during the time of your mother and father was a monster, who relentlessly scared the student council and threatened them that their positions be revoked if they did not comply with his orders.
Secret ending — More of the truth.
>>“You're such a curious little thing, aren't you? Couldn't keep it to yourself to know more.”
Curiousity kills the cat as they say, you decided to dive deeper into the history of the school by studying old news articles about the school, until you came across the arrest of the former headmaster, Kocho Shuyona, arrested for child endangerment, exploitation and other illegal things.
The mere fact he was trying to plead innocent according to the article was disgusting, he was using kids from ages 14-18 who were still in school, using them to his advantage like puppets he can discard when they step out of their line, this was a story not many people wish to discuss, not your parents, not the kids of the students who's parents attended Sakura nō Hana academy in the 1980's, the truth was disgusting but atleast you learned something.
Secret ending — Well, hello there!
>>“Oh would you look here, you came across something timeless.”
Time for an SNHA student character breakdown everyone wake up Paint posted after being M.I.A for a long time!
This gives a more in depth explanation to some characters who I never had time to discuss back stories about. And again, Mida and Muja aren't problematic.
Reminder once again that yes, my ocs are here because it's my rewrite, and again, whatever I write here is part of The Tales of Sakura nō Hana academy and not yandere simulator.
Now before we get into this, there are trigger warnings to sensitive topics:
TW:
Family issues
Major loss of self worth
Loss of true self
Pondering existence and choices in life
Implied suicide attempt/mention
Implied self harm
Anxiety
Detailed explanation of said anxiety
Identity crisis
Nearly going insane
Bullying
Don't worry, I kissed the brick before throwing it
Starting off strong with Tsuruzo Yamazaki, this man has a MAJOR identity crisis because from a young age, at the age of 5 his family said he had no personality, eventually picking up acting, he acted so well to the point he doesn't even know who he is anymore, he lost himself to the point he nearly went mad trying to figure himself out, the only reason he hadn't gone mad or trying anything to himself was his friends bringing out what he considered the "true him" in their words, he isn't sure whether to believe it or not but he thinks it's best to think that he really is himself around his friends, his trauma is deeply rooted in his early identity crisis planted in by the elders in his family, Tsuruzo hasn't recovered from those words even after 13 years after it, but he knows that wound would never fade, he's accepted that the wound will always be there but he plans to ignore it, he knows it's there, he just doesn't want to acknowledge it, after all, there was people who love him for whoever he is, that's all that mattered to him, because behind that exaggerated facade was just someone who wanted to be seen for how people saw him, not the character he portrays on stage.
Next is Gita Yamahato, Sakura nō Hana academy's talented bassist and volleyball MVP, she has the anxiety that she's wasting her youth at the same time not making the most of it, her parents and friends say she's making the most of her youth while older folks say she's wasting her it, she's torn between her wants and needs, but she asked herself the question: "What if my wants were also my needs? Then what do I do?" Which she never thought to ask anyone and kept to herself most of the time, she may seem happy with her life right now despite the words of older people, deep down, she asks herself the question over and over again.
After her comes Toga Tabara, now, it's not mentioned in previous stories where he was involved in, but he is fatherless, unlike his maternal cousins Hiroshiko Kashibuchi and Hazu Kashibuchi, who have a present father, he doesn't have one, he's a deadbeat, he only had his mother, Itsumi, it was rough in Toga's early years of childhood, despite his mother being a lawyer, having to deal with her own divorce case meant Toga had to raise himself most of the time, Itsumi didn't wanna ask her older brother for help but Gota is a kind man and still helped anyway, because he would not allow Toga to suffer in the same silence Itsumi is drowning herself in, Toga was raised next to his cousins, only being a bit younger than Hiroshiko, he aspires to be someone like his uncle, a better person than his own father, he's often anxious about becoming someone like his father so he thrives as hard as he can so he can eventually repay his mom, uncle, aunt and cousins for everything they've done for him, he's not allowing himself to fail but he reminds himself that pushing himself past his limits weren't good.
The next character I want to cover is Oniyami Sadatoshi, the younger sister of Boru Sadatoshi, she's a bit peculiar but that's what makes her interesting to some students, she never had an easy time making friends as a child, her brother being the only friend she ever had, her first true friend is Daku Atsuzawa, a member of the occult club, now, many people think they're dating but they were platonic soulmates, Oniyami states that the gender sterotype of being friends with the opposite gender would lead to love was stupid and they said they'll fall in love when they do. Which hadn't happened at all. Daku and Oniyami are close but they're strictly platonic soulmates, they were both severely bullied in middle school and found solace in each other's company, it was awkward initially but they talked occasionally, Daku ate more of his lunch, Oniyami opened up more, they liked each other's company, they became close friends afterwards and grew their friend group once they attended Sakura nō Hana academy, Oniyami and Daku took the entrance exam together and promised that they'd defend each other and their new friends from the juniors from potential threats.
After that comes Shoku Tsuburaya, I've mentioned before that he and Amai are exes who ended on bad terms, but I never bothered to explain further on why they ended on bad terms, so, let's start on when it began, Shoku and Amai were together a year prior to the main story, Amai was what you can call a wolf in sheep's clothing(the idea came from a video on YouTube where Amai mistreated Kenko), she was this basically, a manipulator who kept her comments as sweet as possible to the point Shoku could not even decipher it as bad, he only pays attention to tone, and even when his best friend, Hiroshiko Kashibuchi said she didn't trust Amai, Shoku scholded the former for being anxious over a sweet girl, but something in Hiroshiko's words did stir something in Shoku, which he later found out that Hiroshiko was infact, right to think Amai was trouble because Shoku was being isolated from his friends because Amai threatened him that she'd harm herself for it, the gaslighting and manipulation got so bad to the point Shoku almost stopped talking entirely, the light in his eyes was gone, he cried almost every night for no reason and he just wanted someone to tell him it was okay, that his feelings were still valid, Geiju never left his older brother's side, Geiju always could tell if something was wrong, twin telepathy as people say it is, Hiroshiko always visited after school, doing things to always cheer him up, making jokes, talking about sewing, or playing video games together, Shoku would forever be grateful for Geiju and Hiroshiko, they were his anchors in his darkest moments and kept him from crossing the bridge, he's healing with Hiroshiko as his partner now and she knows to go easy on him, the only reason Shoku moved on so fast from Amai was because he was mentally checked out of their relationship that he was preparing himself to break up physically, it still haunts him because he'd wake up in the middle of the night because he always hears Amai at the back of his mind.
If you guys think I'm gonna leave Geiju Tsuburaya out of this, nope. Nuh-uh. Geiju has severe anxiety after seeing Shoku nearly attempt, Geiju never showed expressions but after walking in on seeing his own brother nearly take his own life, he grew scared, whenever Shoku held medicine that wasn't prescribed to him, whenever he held a knife when it wasn't for cooking, when he once carried rope to the backyard to fix the tire swing with their dad, everything made Geiju scared that he'd do it again after the first try, Geiju didn't want his brother to do it to himself, he didn't want to bear the weight because he knew he would never get over the death of someone so important to him, he hates Amai and blames her for Shoku's attempt, when he caught Shoku, he actually cried and tried to snap him out of it but by snapping at him, Shoku barely reacted when Geiju crashed out on him because he lost all will to live, but Geiju didn't let his brother throw himself away because of it, Shoku's thankful for Geiju and Geiju tells Shoku to never give up even when things get tough and that he'll be a shoulder to lean on because Shoku did everything for him growing up, it was Geiju's turn to return the favor.
Next is Hazu Kashibuchi, he suffers from anxiety and has an inferiority complex next to his older sister, Hiroshiko Kashibuchi, Hazu doesn't want to call his sister a problem but he feels small compared to her, he loves his sister, he really does, he admires her and wants to be like her when he takes her role in the sewing club as leader, he's just very anxious that he'll screw up because he believes he isn't a natural born leader, he knows Hiroshiko isn't perfect, she said it herself but she was doing her best and encouraged Hazu to do the same, she wants the best Hazu can be and not to overlook himself, even if Hazu can't do it quickly, Hiroshiko can see that her little brother is trying everything he can to be as talented as her, and he comes to appreciates her guidance.
Next is Ayano Aishi, she often thinks of herself as an outcast with how closed off she is, but it's just that she doesn't trust people easily, even though she wants to help, she isn't exactly fond of telling people more about herself that goes deeper to a personal level, her childhood friends, like Osana, Raibaru and Kumi don't know much about her personality either but they stay because they care for her and don't care if she doesn't wanna be honest, it was fine with them but to her, she can't bring herself to trust anyone knowing they can be dangerous despite how sweet the may look, she likes helping others, she's fine with others helping her, but making new friends was a struggle, she sometimes believes that people use her, which is true in some cases but she does make friends even after doing tasks for them, Ayano doesn't like to be a liability or have no use but she sometimes doesn't know what it means to sit back and relax, Osana tells her to do so, but even so, Ayano wants to keep herself occupied to make sure she doesn't think about her personal problems.
Next to discuss is Raibaru Fumetsu, she doubts herself a lot, she's the strongest student in Sakura nō Hana academy but her biggest fear is not being able to use that strength to protect those she loves, it's a fear she has after becoming Osana's friend and she's afraid she won't be able to protect her from harm, it makes her extremely anxious that she won't be able to help Osana if the latter was far away, being raised in a dojo, she was taught how to fight from a very young age but in some cases, Raibaru still feels defenseless when she couldn't be able to protect her loved ones.
Next isn't a student, it's Muja Kina, the nurse, Muja is often asked the question: "Why didn't you go to work at a hospital? You clearly know a thing or two about major injuries students don't usually sustain!" And her answer is kept vague such as: "Oh, I prefer working in an environment that isn't stressful as a hospital." Or "I prefer to not work myself past my limits, I love helping and teaching younger people basic medical attention." But in reality, it's deeply rooted trauma that she never fully recovered from, Muja never plainly stated it but she HATES loud sounds, like ambulance sirens, because when she was in college, her mother got into an accident, Muja had no fault in it but blamed herself for her mother's accident because she was distracted by something and a car was about to hit her, her mother pushed her out of the way and took the hit, the loud blaring of ambulance sirens sent her into a panic attack during that time so she had to be sedated to calm down, when Muja woke up, fortunately, her mother was alive but unfortunately, her mother was paralyzed from the waist down, though Muja was going for healthcare, it was best that she should evade from being placed into stressful situations to avoid her going into a panic attack, so she applied to be a nurse at Sakura nō Hana academy, her alma mater in highschool, she remembers how calm it was, hearing students chatter, gossip and remembering she liked spending time in the nurse's office as the nurse at the time, Nasu Kankoshi(who is the health relations officer and advocate for mental health awareness now as of the storyline), helped her in some assignments she had trouble on, Muja's parents were thankful for Nasu's advice and guidance for Muja to pursue healthcare, infact, Nasu was the one who wrote Muja's college recommendation forms as she supported Muja's idea into going for healthcare. Nasu was aware that Muja hates loud noises and does everything she can to make sure her student back then is comfortable.
After her, we discuss Mida Rana, Mida was a very timid person when she was younger, she had so much ideas for school but never voiced them out because she didn't wanna be judged for her bizzare ideas, Mida and Muja actually had crossed paths once during their time as students, they recognized each other, Mida as the "cool senior" as Muja described it and Muja as the "sweet junior" as Mida described it. Mida was a smart kid when she was younger but she never expressed it with her voice, as she was timid, socially awkward and looked very out of place, her peers would call her "Mute Mida", which made her a target for bullying, but as she grew older, Mida knew that she was going to become a teacher to make sure future generations don't end up becoming bad people, well, atleast the majority of them won't become bad people, Mida doesn't tolerate bullying because she knows how that felt, it hurts her to this day, but she's healing as her career as a teacher goes onwards, she lives humbly with her corgi, she's content where she is now and she doesn't ever wanna change the fact that she's doing something even if it's so small in the big world, she believes that the littlest of things would later some day become something big, she thought of it like planting trees, with time, they grow.
Btw ! Selling these as a photocard at the MICO Cupsleeve event on December 6th at Manila ! For any filipino amicos who stumble upon this : registration is up until October 20th !
Gonna break my silence real quick — It's a rant about Mico and his connection to epic. It's just a massive complain rant.
Ignore this if you want, I just want it off my chest. I will probably not put this in the epic tags because I do not wanna argue.
I feel like you guys forget he has his own projects and has his own plans to perform his own songs outside epic. Don't ask him if he can perform songs like "Legendary" or "We'll be fine" during his concerts because he doesn't want to. If you guys water him down to just Telemachus, I hope you guys know that you aren't true fans. He has his own identity and he has his own personality. Don't even dare to say that you can do whatever because he "would be okay with it", no the fuck he won't be. He's not okay with being called Telemachus. He's a person too but some of you seem to not listen, I know I may sound like a killjoy to you little cringlings who don't seem to understand what a boundary is but that's just the truth you need to shove down your throat. Ever since epic ended, the fandom seemed to just grow toxic, when I first joined, my biggest fear was literally the fandom going toxic, now that newgens are joining and telling Mico he's nothing more than just Telemachus and not his own person, it just proves my point that the fandom is toxic even to the cast. He even said he wants his stage persona and his role in epic to be seperate. I've completely disassociated from epic hoping to come back once ilium drops but I also want to say that the specific crowd I'm targeting are bold as hell for harassing the voice actors themselves, sure some of the voice actors are fine with using their EPIC roles in their concerts but Mico does not want that, there's a difference between their preferences and his preferences, I'm not saying this to baby him, allow me to say it again: HE. DOES. NOT. WANT. TO. BE. CALLED. TELEMACHUS.
It could count as harassment if you guys insist that he is Telemachus, because he's not an object of your fantasies, he made it clear that he used his real name for the credits instead of his stage name because he wants his roles sperated, like I said earlier, I feel like if we put ourselves in his shoes, I think we can all agree that if we have our own projects and is/was part of another major project, we'd use our real names instead of our well known names so that people don't make us live a role we have to constantly put up for, give it some thought and ask yourself: "If I were in Mico's shoes and someone insists that I'm are nothing more than my role in a project but I have my own dreams and own life, should I even let it slide?"
I feel like most of us wouldn't let it slide especially if it makes us uncomfortable for someone to think so lowly of us when we literally did something big for ourselves and they're just sitting behind a screen belittling us and saying we're nothing, because I thought of it and it's actually hard to be famous because you're expected to do things, you're expected to keep up with the world's trends and what's new, even from someone as low in online popularity as me, I understand their struggle, because with fame, you sacrifice things, there's always a price to pay when it comes to fame, that includes harassment. Mico doesn't deserve the treatment we give him because he treats us, his fans, as actual people. Basic human decency is to treat someone as an equal, you can admire them as long as you don't treat them any less than a person and please do not reference EPIC infront of him especially since not all amicos are EPIC fans. With that all said and done, I hope we don't have more issues like this in the future because I'm not a big fan of issues.
Random rant about my school but when can I get a break already cuz the first and second week just ended and tf you mean I have an essay, a milestone map, a mini task and a response letter due on monday and tf you mean we have a quiz in general math on tuesday AND it's going to contain only the difficult parts of the lesson???
