Your idols burn in the fire The mob comes crawling up I’m reclaiming my mind Destroying everyone
Steve Buscemi’s dramatic acting skills being put to the test as Mr. Pink realizes there is no coffee in his cup.

Feminists don’t wanna live in a world without men, we want to live in a world without patriarchy and violent, toxic hyper-masculinity
So a world where men can’t be themselves.
Being violent and overly masculine is men “being themselves”? Sounds like you’re the one who wants to demonize men
Didn’t realise I had to be all those things to be a man... obviously I’ve been doing something wrong...
“You met me at a very strange time in my life.”
A painting from my solo show “MOMENTS II” (which opened this weekend and went wonderfully, thank you everyone who made it!) You can view the rest of the show and purchase signed limited edition prints at Bottleneck Gallery.
Young Yoruba girl. West Africa.
omg I smiled back 😂😂😂
why the fuck she got pasta on her head
That’s not pasta it’s a snack usually called kuli-Kuli common in Nigeria and probably West Africa, this one is also called another name which I don’t remember now. I didn’t think it looked like pasta but I guess it can be mistaken for pasta. Also your comment is really rude if you didn’t know what it was you could just ask instead of making a completely ridiculous assumption, also delete my post with your ugly comment off your blog. Alaileko elenu osi, oniranu rada rada.
People like that asshole above are the reason why I like keeping things about my people sacred.
Smh stupid people but that child’s smile is everything
Well… all that aside.. That girl is so adorable.
She is beautiful
This picture makes me happy. Also what is kuli-Kuli, it looks nice...
tory majority, day 1289189821?????? days till budget from hell: 1
£12bn welfare cuts:
access to work schemes for disabled people have been cut
tax credits for the working poor -affecting 7 million children- are about to be slashed; we’re told it’s cos it subsidizes low pay and businesses should pick up the slack -which is nice sentiment if you believe the tories care or if they realise the living wage actually takes into account in-work benefits and without them employers would have to top up the minimum wage by 80%, which lol will never happen
child benefit is likely to be slashed
the govt has redefined poverty to not include income and instead focus on worklessness and alcoholism. Imagine poverty being measured by jeremy kyle. They have defined poor without the being poor bit. Most people know this is cos slashing child tax credits will plunge 300,000 into poverty and they don’t want to be held accountable.
a further 40,000+ will be plunged into poverty by the actually popular £20k (was £23k in the tory manifesto) welfare cap, which includes not just JSA but housing benefit, which leads onto…
housing benefit is going to be cut, & banned for under 21s/25s (TBC). No reform to the renting market a la miliband. 10,000 predicted to be made homeless.
speaking of which, the luxury market is booming now the threat of a mansion tax and non dom ban is no longer a problem!!!! you should read this and then throw up!!!
social cleansing is a-go as 300,000 families are shipped out of London, this will continue to increase
the shares of zero hours companies also peaked after the election now evil miliband is gone
social housing tenants earning £30k will have to start paying the market rent, pushing them out of the cities
Right to Buy is going to be expanded, depleting the last of council housing -remember, 1 in 3 RTB houses are now owned by landlords
500,000 public sector jobs to be cut
Osborne wants a ‘Surplus Law’ which will legally entrench permament austerity
the DWP is writing to ill benefit claimants asking if they’ve died yet
charities are predicting the amount of people using foodbanks will rise to 3m, up 2m
The DWP appealed against releasing statistics on the number of people who died while their benefits were sanctioned or as a result of the bedroom tax
top rate of tax is likely to be cut to 40p when the time is least controversial
inheritance tax affecting top 2% of homes is going to be cut
trade unions are now facing the strictest regulations and greatest attacks on them in the western world -collective bargaining now all but impossible
striking will be made near impossible
privatization in the nhs is going to speed up exponentially
state schools as we know them are unlikely to exist in 5 years time as free schools and academies (literal privatization) expand
student grants for the poorest are going to be phased out completely (Miliband was gonna raise them by £400)
channel 4 is set to be privatized
Murdoch will probs have another go at a BSkyB takeover now Miliband isn’t there -the control of the tabloids and news over our elections will get worse
ditto for us going to war in Syria
the Tories are going further than Thatcher and have set their sights on the BBC -likely we will be charged for iPlayer soon
and the best news is the Tories are set to change the boundaries that have admittedly given Labour an electoral advantage -by measuring consituencies by no. of registered voters. Because the poor, the young, and minorities don’t register, the chances of Labour ever winning again is bleak to say the least. You’re stuck with the Tories, realistically, till 2025. Probs 2030.
Fucking burn the rich
look at this shit
does anyone else feel like an apocalypse is gonna happen anytime soon because it feels like everything is going to shit at the moment and maybe that’s why? Or maybe we’re just living in a country run by people who only look out for the 1% whilst claiming we’re all in this together... fuck everything

For an album called 'I Love You, Honeybear' it's funny how bitter, sarcastic and scathing Father John Misty's new album is... I love it
Lost Highway - To Not Understand is the point
I feel like I should give some advice before anyone watches a David Lynch film (that is if you haven’t ever seen one before): You should mentally prepare yourself. Seriously, all of his films (with the exception of The Straight Story) are monumental head fucks that leave you drained, confused and terrified by the end. Lost Highway is no exception. That is not to say that his films aren't brilliant or you shouldn't watch them, because you definitely should, the man is a genius. But be warned, they’re not for the faint hearted or easily disturbed.
*Probable Spoilers Here*
To truly explain this film I’d probably need to take a three year course in it, but here is the basic gist of it. Troubled saxophonist Fred (Bill Pullman) is haunted by strange visions of his wife Renee (Patricia Arquette) and plagued by a mysterious man delivering video tapes to his front door. As each tape is delivered the tapes get longer and weirder, culminating in Fred brutally murdering his wife, whilst watching the tape of him doing it, without any recollection of it happening. He is then thrown on death-row before somehow transforming into Pete (Balthazar Getty) and disappearing completely from the film and Patricia Arquette becomes a blonde woman called Alice. And then things get even weirder.
That is the first hour of this two hour nightmare and from then on things get weirder and scarier.
I think I might have said it before in my review of Eraserhead, but I think Lynch is probably the closest thing the world will ever have to making re-playable dreams. His films follow the exact kind of logic one has in a feverish nightmare i.e. people move from place to place by simply opening a door, events that have no link at all are interconnected and people just disappear and never return with no mention at all. This dream logic is clearer in Lost Highway than Eraserhead, but no less terrifying.
The film itself is crammed full of typical David Lynch-isms; red curtains, brutal head wounds, fire, sex, bizarre minor characters and terrifying villains, the Mystery Man, played with seething intensity by Robert Blake, in his final film appearance, is probably one of Lynch’s most evil creations. This is the man who created Frank Booth lets not forget. There’s also a typically hypnotic score by Angelo Badalamenti, the man responsible for almost all of Lynch’s film scores and sleek camerwork from Pete Deming adding to the films languorous mood.
Like the rest of Lynch’s work, Lost Highway is designed to disturb, confuse and ultimately terrify it’s audience, but that’s why I love him. Granted I didn't sleep for a long time after I watched it, but that’s irrelevant. His singular vision of American suburbia makes him one of the most interesting directors working today. They may not make a lot of sense, but that’s the point (probably). Just sit down, take a deep breath and get lost in the journey.
Just don’t say I didn’t warn you when you come out of it a nervous wreck for a good few hours/day...
I’m pretty certain Wolf Alice are the only ‘big’ British Indie band I’ve liked since… well probably since Foals. Every time a new one comes out they get hyped to the point of ridiculousness by NME and the BBC, all scrambling over one another to proclaim ‘these are the next big thing in British music’ ‘look at this cool new band that we found and if we didn’t find no one would listen to them etc.’ but as soon as they put out an album everyone’s interest in them is gone and they’ve all jumped on the next one, just look at pretty much any band to come out of the English indie scene in the past five year; Palma Violets, Drenge, Peace, Temples etc. they all came, had there fun (to varying degrees of enjoyment) and have now fucked off, not that I’m really complaining to be honest.
However it seems to be different with Wolf Alice. Yeah okay they get hyped an upsetting amount, but so far, based on the four EP’s they’ve put out since their formation and now their debut album, they actually seem to have some kind of staying power, as well as being, well, y’know, actually good. I mean who knows, it is still early days, but having been listening to them for about two years now and still not growing sick of them is a sign, whereas my enthusiasm for most other Brit bands waned after about a year.
Also just to point out, I’m not dismissing the entire British indie scene, there are plenty of amazing bands kicking around that don’t get nearly as much hype as the few I’ve mentioned before, and a couple that do, hello Foals and Hot Chip, two bands who’ve managed to ride a wave of hype and come out the other side still putting out fantastic music. But there are other bands such as Hookworms, Joanna Gruesome, Eagulls and Kyla La Grange to name but a few, who are also making excellent, interesting music, whilst remaining weirdly anonymous to a lot of people, as far as I can tell. But these are just my thoughts…
oh and while I think of it, alt-J can fuck off aswell
I have just realised this doesn't actually really say why I like Wolf Alice, so here are a few points. In a scene dominated by cynical Lad revival types (as if we needed more of that) who's only aspiration is to be the Arctic Monkeys, Wolf Alice have carved out a nice little niche of their own. Their songs are a lot more personal and tender than most others. They also hide a ferocious bite in their sometimes twinkly and shiny pop songs thanks to Ellie Roswell's limber and versatile voice. Also on a more basic note, I just like them, they make music that pleases my ear and mind. Sometimes that's all you really need
