a blonde brow raised at his comment of her scaring men, frown upon features. a roll of blue hues ended any remark she may make at that, she knew he wasn’t intending anything by it, and she was rather good at that, not that she meant to be. “do your shoulders not ache from carrying that giant ego of yours, little brother?” she replied, now a smile creeping up at the curves of her lips. despite the playful banter and jabs towards each other, they had a bond that differed from their other siblings, as she was sure his relationship with each of the other was different from hers. she never felt the need to filter herself with him, though she was never very filtered, in general. aliza serrett toned down her tongue as best as she could in general.
she could sense the sincerity in his words, as much as he poked at her, she knew he cared in the little way he did. “hey, it’s not your job to worry about me. am i not supposed to be the responsible one?” she taunted, they both knew that was nonsense. aliza sighed, shoulders dropped slightly as her feelings returned to her. “i made mistakes, one’s that i actually care about.” she shook her head, blonde curls shuffling about. it wasn’t exactly a mistake, what she did, but the hiding of the truth itself was what she felt burdened with, a burden she would continue to carry. the weariness would fade, she was sure. “but perhaps i will indulge in some fun if you have an idea?” a blonde brow raised now.
When she asked if his shoulders ached from carrying his massive ego, he grinned. He enjoyed the playful back and forth he had with Aliza. It was....different from his relationship with Adrian and Eleanore. It was relaxing.....he didn’t feel like he had to prove anything to her. She was just happy he was there.....or so he hoped. “No, if anything carrying my massive ego is the reason my body looks the way it does. Besides we’ve all been groomed to have egos. It’s our house words, I have no rival, talk about ego.” As the conversation turned more serious and she said that it was not his job to worry about her, but that she also made mistakes he hummed thinking her words over.
“All humans make mistakes.....no matter how hard we try not to admit it. Don’t let your mistakes control you, Aliza. If you do, you’ll become a grey old crone, who only finds joy in scaring children and living in the woods.” He put his arm around her, squeezing her shoulder reassuringly. “Though I wouldn’t be surprised if that ends up being your fate regardless. Now as for something fun.....” He hummed looking around the room. “Ok, we’re going to pick a person, but rather than describe the person’s looks we’re going to say what we think their personality is like, then the other has to figure out who we’re talking about.”
