3:46 p.m. (Miranda Materazzo) -- Anyone who missed #edtechday at Ithaca College can pick up a booklet highlighting vendors and presenters.
3:42 p.m. (Angela Poffenbaugh) - Rosane Mordt, a volunteer for Ed Tech Day, says that last year approximately 1600 people attended. This year about 1500 attended, with 680 people registering in advance.
3:29 p.m. (Miranda Materazzo) -- Ensemble video is the ultimate media multi-tasker, great for content creators with multiple audiences, whether it's students managing video assignments or online instructors managing lectures. Cool way to wrap up #edtechday.
3:30 p.m. (Angela Poffenbaugh) - Bodhi Rogers says that his goal today was to educate and share with people the information about 3D scanning and printing. He says he was busy talking to a range of people from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., so he calls today a success.
3:20 p.m. (Angela Poffenbaugh) - Ensemble Video shows the multitude of features when it comes to making video packages. Some features include live-streaming and being able to doodle while recording a computer screen.
3:10 p.m. (Miranda Materazzo) -- There are still FIVE seminars happening at #edtechday, hosted by Ithaca College.
3:01 p.m. (John Stanley) -- It's just about closing time here at EdTech Day.
3:00 p.m. (Angela Poffenbaugh) - People begin to wrap up Ed Tech Day as the crowd slowly dwindles. Not to worry though, there are more presentations today until 4!
2:54 p.m. (John Stanley) -- Peter McCracken shows ShipIndex.org, a database of all ships in history. This helps history majors to genealogy addicts research information.
2:52 p.m. (Matt Constas) -- Ronco Communications’ Clear Touch interactive provides a high quality touch screen monitor without a projector, helping save time and energy.
2:50 p.m. (John Stanley) -- Rev is a collaborative project by Cornell, Ithaca College and TC3 to help people with ideas make it into a company.
2:45 p.m. (Mary Slack) -- Five professors from the College at Brockport are discussing different mobile apps and learning plans they have integrated into their courses. They were all involved in a faculty learning community at the college and their learning plans can be found at http://tinyurl.com/FLCmobile2015. They're presenting right now in the Clark Lounge.
2:45 p.m. (Matt Constas) -- Castle Learning Online allows teachers to scan their tests and sync them with the answers, helping the grading process.
2:40 p.m. (Matt Constas) -- 3D Game Market is creating a more immersive environment for gamers to play their favorite games without wearing glasses.
2:37 p.m. (John Stanley) -- DynTek Services help with IT services, including security and server management. Ithaca College utilizes DynTek Services in their servers.
2:32 p.m. (Mary Slack) -- 76West is a clean energy competition being held in the Southern Tier by the NYS Energy Research and Development Association. The goal of the competition is to develop clean energy technology, and the winner will be guided in the implementation of the tech with early users.
