First, lots of artists don’t like people reposting their art for the reason of not crediting them. Say that you recently found a piece of art and put it on your blog, either you say “Hey guys look at this great art! Who ever did this is amazing” or in your case you just post to make your followers happy, it leaves out “who’s the artist?”. When you credit the artist your followers who may also like the picture can look up the artists works and be amazed(that artist may gain some new followers that day!). Artists work very hard to get where they are and for you to just do what you did(you could’ve easily reblogged/shared the photo) erases their hard work. You may gain some new followers or likes/reblogs and this artist may not get their recognition for their work, is what I’m trying to say.
