El Globo, Santiago 2025 It took quite a while to get down here. We are two levels below the surface. Only one way out. A newly placed camera welcomed us so we took cover under the platform to evaluate the situation. CLANG! Shh! Did you hear that? Silence.
Everyone is tense. Clangs echo through the layup. Is there someone hidden inside? Or is it just the iron snake’s sigh? Ears pricked up. Eyes wide open. The crackling tension is almost louder than those clangs. Minutes pass and we make our way through the layup. Slowly. Stealthy. Okay, they didn’t see us on the camera. There is nobody in here. Let’s get it done before this changes … Printed in March 2026. Edition of 10.

I guess that even if you weren’t there to witness it in persona, you probably couldn’t avoid to see the recent phenomenon of painted DHL trucks rolling through a couple of German cities. Just like the parcel carriers, Moses and Taps together with a couple of their friends delivered something new to my doorstep.
Waking up to an Otis-wholecar ringing your doorbell is something very refreshing when you usually have to creep around subway stations for hours just to get a glimpse at a panel. Same for a Futo-ICE that keeps rolling for months. In the streets. Certainly this phenomenon is going to stop at some point - but until then I keep enjoying seeing my friends pieces passing me by every day. And after that, I’ll still have their new book to remember a long, cold winter full of traffic. Be it in the streets or in my feed.
