Paying it forward.
This actually works as a prison. Who knew.

Sylvester Before and After Bath.
He was accidentally left in a bedroom all day with the door closed. So once he was fed and given water he had to be bathed to get urine out of his fur and he was not a happy cat.

The Infamous Dead Branch.
This is a set of pictures of the dead branch that needs to be cut in the backyard. The branch is so long it extends down passed the log storage rack and into the compost pile. I really cannot wait to cut that branch down because of how ugly and obnoxious it is to deal with.

Tree Branch Clearing - Sunday September 23, 2018.
Spent most of Sunday moving all the tree branches that were cut late last week to the back yard. There is so much that had to be moved and even more to come that we will have to get a wood chipper & mulcher to cut the branches down to something useful and that can save space in the yard.

Neighborhood cats lining up for their morning breakfast.
The infamous leaning fence.
After speaking to my family this has been an issue for a while now of the fence slowly leaning more and more into the neighbor’s yard. My uncle Frank is working to get estimates on parts and tools needed to replace the old fence with something strong that will last for a few decades hopefully.
Broken rain duct on back of house. I know from watching the duct when it rains that the water will spill down the side, like a waterfall. Something else that needs to be added to the list of repairs to the house.
It is hard to tell by these pictures, but if you look closely you can see that the cable lines are resting on and in between the tree branches, which means this tree should have been trimmed a long time ago.
New and up to date circuit breaker.
After this experience with the power being out for a week I have learned so much about residential electricity. Before this outage I did not know that the electrical system had branches or what switches were in the electrical box.
Circuit breaker at the house that needs to be replaced. At the time of this picture we had power in half of the house and no access to a dishwasher, dryer or washer.
The tree branch above the circuit breaker that must be removed to keep the electrical system up to code.
“Weed tree” growing in the backyard.
After doing an inspection of the backyard we found that there is a long dead branch on one of the trees that will need to be removed.
