If anyone is wondering what happens if Cecil skips his goop bath. His skin starts to crack. The panels before this his nose broke off. I’m not sure why it’s green.

This is in Invincible Universe vol 1. So far that’s my favorite out of the comics.

entertained by the notion of cecil kicking back and letting out his inner Red Blooded American by drinking his weight in shitty beer and watching mind-numbingly bad television with his middle aged guy friends who are absolutely 10000% heterosexual yup no homo here

also, kinda charmed by the idea of Cecil's polite southern drawl coming out when he's speaking to Donald and Brit's wives. Then his Alabaman accent really leaks out when he's drunk, which his asshole friends probably find hilarious. Did'ja just call me sweetheart?! You fuckin' fruit!!! Gahahaha!

You ever get an intrusive memory that turns you on and then makes you embarrassed as all hell about it? Yeah. I'm cursing Cecil with some of those.

Anyway, been thinking about Cecil's "as long as I spend 1 hour in special nutrition goop I don't need to sleep and that's partly why I got this job" line because jesus christ, does this man ever rest? Does he even go to the bathroom?¿? When does he ever let himself relax enough to jerk off? Is that hour the entirety of free time he's ever given as Director? We see Donald interrupt him at least once in the comic canon so not even this time is fully sacred.

I wonder if he didn't ever miss that tiny cell he rotted in for three years now and again. Radcliffe said he'd been watching, yeah, and he was still physically locked up in high security prison with a buncha rapists and murderers that he had to constantly keep in line or get fucked over by, but Cecil was likely freer in mind and spirit those years than he'd ever be again.
