I literally cannot stop thinking about how weird Error is, compared to other Sanses.
Like, he's an AU of an AU (or timeline of a timeline??), he suddely gained 5 tongues after getting locked in The Torture Dimension. He has spend YEARS stuck in what's essentially a white torture cell, except it's a place between AUs, it's a blank place and there's no start or end to it. Just an infinite void going on forever and ever and Error spend so much time in that.
And it?? Changed him physically???
I know we compare it to white room torture and there's a good reason for that, I'm not denying that. But like. The Anti-Void is just so much more than white torture if it can do that to Error or Geno or whoever's unlucky enough to land in there.
And that's not even touching the subject of the Voices. Of us. I know the Anti-Void is just probably a jab at us looking at a white sheet of paper, or a blank document. As I said it's a place between dimensions. A blank slate that makes sure no AUs bleed into each other. That's also why Error can just, look into any universe he wants to, they're all connected because they all started out as blank. They were all once like the Anti-Void before we gave them life.
But we won't ever give life to the Anti-Void. That's not it's designation, that's not the reason it exists. It would be pointless to give it something more than Error and his belongings, it would ruin the reason why Error's there in the first place.
I just, I want to know if there are any more differences to Error, any more weird traits we didn't notice or didn't ask about that he has. I want to know how different he is just because we got our hands on him. I want to know what the Anti-Void did to him fully, how much he lost of himself and how much he changed.
Do you think anyone would believe it? That the Destroyer was once an Undertale Sans himself?
↓ ADDING ONTO THIS ↓
And the whole physically glitching deal he has?? The fact he's SPECIFICALLY made to be lineless?? The whole thing where his body shuts down and has to restart (??) itself when he gets too uncomfortable / scared / surprised in a situation???
Yk what, I'm talking more about the crashes, cuz what do you MEAN he just shuts down when he gets touched unprompted?? When he gets scared because someone he doesn't trust surprises him with a form of contact???
I personally don't think the crashes are actually a result of the touch itself, but actually it's what happenes if Error gets so scared / surprised / WHATEVER that his body just freaks out and starts pushing whatever buttons to look over Error's well being and figure out what's wrong. Which, well, just makes Error conk out untill his body stops freaking out and let him back into consciousness.
And also?? I've seen around that he forgets stuff after a crash?? He seems confused and doesn't know what caused it, sure, but is unsurprised the post-crash-memory-loss happened. He's so used to to crashing and forgetting stuff that he just brushes it off???
Fuck man. And the whole tear strings?? How the tear markings— sometimes his actual tears— turn to his main weapon???
Don't tell me that not a jab at weaponized sadness / victom blaming. His actually BODY is just poking fun at him for crying because isn't that just almost summoning his main weapon?? If he cries and tries to scub the tears away in front of someone, they'd just assume he's summoning his strings to hurt them. That's FUCKED UP WHAT???
His existence itself is so fucked up, oml, he's a corrupted file lashing out at everything and everyone, including himself. He's tearing apart at the seams like a fucked up little doll. He's only a half functioning program and there's no telling when he'll break.
Actually that's another thing, his computer-like thing he has?? Yk, both the crashes and the error messages and the glitching of his body just scream "malicious / half-broken program", so what's up with that? PLUS I've seen people making him even more computer / android / robot-like (e.g. running hot— temperature wise— when stressed, "whirring" noises when thinking, the whole loading bar or loading circle thing, 1s and 0s running in his bone marrow etc.) and like damn, I actually do love love love all of those headcanons and I think they fit MARVELOUSY to his weird existence— but also, that implies so much with the Anti-Void and it changing Error.
Like, does that mean you somehow get reduced back to a simple computer file when you're in the Anti-Void too long? Is it a more physical representation of the derealization that goes on in Error's head the longer he stays?? How does he compare physically to other Sanses and don't tell me that it wouldn't be freaky to see an alternate you, that's actually, physically, implied / confirmed to not. be. real.
I know there's the whole empathy thing with Undertale, with the "killing these guys means nothing because they're not real, but they think they're real so maybe it means a little more than you think" but looking at that from their perspective— an incomprehensible being so desperately trying to convince you that you're life doesn't actually exist and doesn't matter— wouldn't it freak you out to see Error? A corrupted game file, a broken character with a glitching form and missing textures. Wouldn't it freak you out to have the proof of your life meaning nothing in front of you?
He makes me sick ohMyGOD /lh /pos
