In regards to that last reblog, I used to be obsessed with finding an art style too when I was starting my endeavor into digital art. It made me so anxious that I didn’t have one that I would feel physically ill, cause I thought the sign of a good artist was having a brand. I couldn’t care less now and haven’t cared for years. And what do you know as soon as I stopped caring my art evolved and really took off once I stopped worrying about it….
My advice is abandon this obsession with finding a look. Nothing is more exciting than finding a new way to portray something. I can’t remember which artist said it but they basically said if your art doesn’t look different 5 years from now what’s even the point….Your art should be responding to everything and anything around you. Even if it’s just time.
