Also a Daily reminder: Some people literally have so much shit on their plate that they cannot make time for the things they want to make to time for. If someone you like works 12 hours a day, comes home late, and goes straight to bed because any more thoughts or conversations will drain them even more - it’s NOT personal. It’s not healthy to expect people to drop everything for you so you can feel secure about your relationship with them. Friends, family or romance. You have to realize when someone is completely ignoring you on purpose & when someone is just too freaking busy to keep up with life outside of their own. The whole “people only make time for what they truly care about” is bullshit. Bitch I’m busy. I wanna make time for vacation, but I’ve got other shit to do first so I can’t. Does that mean I don’t care about vacation??? NO. I wanna talk to my mom for five hours some nights, but can’t cause I’m working. Does that mean I don’t care about my mama?? NO it does not. Learn how to be comfortable with yourself and your relationships when people don’t revolve their worlds around you when you want it.
And maybe people aren’t responding or complying to your wants because you can’t understand that they have business to take care of instead having text conversations with you about nothing. Respect people’s 24 hours a day like your own. I’m sure you don’t complete every single task you want to every single day. Do you beat yourself up about it and tell yourself that you don’t care and that you deserve better? Stop taking everything so personally all the time and your life will be much happier.
