is seriously some crazy shit and I can't believe we don't get paid to do this for humanity
And like, tripling down on the fact that no one should be forced into this sequence just because they happened to get pregnant!
Additionally would appreciate if we stopped romanticizing childbearing. There are very real risks and heartbreaks and traumas, even when everything goes well.
ALSO no idea how we are supposed to even think about working full time so soon with a 12 week old (but probably younger) who still needs constant attention! Not to mention attempting to continue breastfeeding exclusively! The logistics! The engorgement! Lost supply! (Just thinking about my 2-hour morning commute has me feeling sore...)
