Crosser's Bend
----
Welcome to our first stop!
I know, it doesn't seem like much.
But it's so much more than it seems!
This road is called Crosser's Bend!
Though, to be honest, I'm not sure how it got its name.
But the history of it is spellbinding!
But first, you should know...
Tarot and Binx and lived on this road for years.
They're completely harmless! It's just...
No one really knows who they are or what they want.
They've been here so long, they have... sort of a claim over this place?
But you don't have to be scared!
They're really friendly!
As long as you don't ignore them.
A long time ago, someone ignored them, and...
Well, if they wave to you, just make sure to wave back!
Back to our tour!
Crosser's Bend is a road, yes, but no one knows how it was built.
The road was actually discovered long ago by the settlers of this town.
The road is older than the town itself!
Odd, isn't it?
But it's a wonderful place! I love to come out here and watch the trees.
It's nice to be around so much life...
But that's about all for this place!
Hurry up! I still have so much to show you!
Welcome!
----
Well, hello there!
Welcome to Psychoville!
It's a real pleasure to be the one to introduce you to our town!
You've probably forgotten, but my name is Trick!
I'll be your guide tonight!
So, what do you say we start off with some history?
Psychoville is a very old town; it's been around for many years.
I've lived here for... well, basically forever!
Honestly, I can't remember a time when I didn't live in Psychoville...
But I love it here!
There are so many sights and stories.
I don't know how anybody would want to leave.
But that's the beauty of Psychoville!
No one leaves.
Ever.
So let's get this tour started!
You'll love it, trust me!
Welcome to Psychoville, stranger!
To remember
"Everyone knew it was impossible, until a fool who didn't came along and did it."
-- Albert Einstein
To remember
"Then I realized something. I was keeping my old wounds fresh and open, as evidence for a trial that would never come."
-- Mark Nepo
To remember
"Nothing ever ends poetically. It ends and we turn it into poetry. All that blood was never once beautiful. It was just red."
-- Kait Rokowski
Growing Through Our Remedy
O ghost of mine Fathomed together by design I wish for thee to hear the bell Of our forgotten time.
Listen to the ring of Memory It yells at our old treachery Of broken love, of hidden lines, Contained within a poison-floating remedy
What if?
What if God, in all his creation, became bound by his own law?
What if Eve eating the fruit created a new realm?
What if the impact of this existence was so great it would cause a mortal body to wither under the weight of its own life?
What if this is why heaven is needed? As a place where our souls may live in total perfection?
Diamonds for Gold
Forever happy is the man Whom found the golden lights Built a city of stone Towering to new heights
Forever happy is the man Whom chased away the night Diamonds were a price paid For building golden lights
Oxymoron of the Stars
Within time my eyes first did beheld Work of an artist unparalleled His brush had left pricks of scattered paint A stagnant portrait where life was held Then where light and dark were left in twain Then where dark and light could not constrain Creation that had been left unsigned Though pale traces of his touch remain Patterns and shapes that were left unlined Connected only within his mind I wish to hold the vision in heart Trace the lines of his celestial art
Pride's Pedestal
Trapped down here in the dark, Cause faith blocks out the light. Footsteps muffled by doubt Return to me my sight.
Cracked stones threaten others, But I walk down the path. My own self tells me to Forget about His wrath.
My inner thoughts constructed A temple just for pride. They say He won’t forgive me; I know they haven’t lied.
But solitude is what I know - It won’t be left behind. They say they can’t see a value, Yet they have all gone blind.
They may believe they can force me To go back into the dark. But freedom has taken over, And it lit an infinite spark
Forgotten Faded Feathers
I'll tell you of mythology, a story from long ago Of an angel who thought her mind sharper than other's caution She dreamed to live amongst the mortals, to learn from them and grow Never did she imagine that sin would tempt quite so often
Her voice had quickly gone, a whisper only left to the wind Mortals stayed in bliss; blind of the perfection amongst their sin But perfection was bleeding and burdened with the weight it lost Sunlight dried silent tears shed for the feathers that had been trimmed Love was destroyed; society could not let the heart beat soft Golden streaks of perfection soon blackened with all it had cost Her words were honest; her tongue never sharp enough to be heard Prayed for strength from holy ghost worlds away, forever star crossed But silence answered within her mind; hope and ignorance blurred Morality then silenced, worn thin so that she may discard An ache alongside every second beside time as it ticked Never to understand that she could no longer be perfect
The Euthyphro Dilemma
"Is the pious loved by the gods because it is pious, or is it pious because it is loved by the gods?"
The thousands don't allow for disiludens to talk
