Greetings, Humans. My name is White Zircon. Loyal Servant of White Diamond.
Due to... certian reasons, I have been put on indefinite leave, and Aristotle decided to give me something to do.
Don't act fools, and behave yourselves.
White Diamond has SUCH A GOOD DESIGN. Her basic profile is basically what people expected but all the detail put into her is so unlike a Steven Universe character she stands out immediately.
Her linework and coloration is how the Crewniverse typically draws backgrounds, using a distinct watercolor-esque style with less defined lineart so the characters pop no matter what background they’re on.
Those feet do not belong to any SU character. Nobody in this show has nails or even distinct heels. The level of detail is jarring since we’re so used to much more simple characters while the detailed art is allowed to rest in the background. She feels like a permanent fixture in her throne room, a living part of Homeworld itself.
Her face is the only part of her that’s animated and even slightly resembles the typical style of the other characters, but even still no character has so much detail on their eyelashes, or even their lips (most lips in this show are just two lines on either side of the mouth). Her facial features are also pitch black on a figure that is otherwise pure white to light gray. Every character design in the show employs contrast to highlight certain features to a degree, it’s a basic component of any visual medium. But the contrast in her face is noticeably more dramatic than any other image in the show, whether it’s the richly colored characters or pastel environments.
And of course I haven’t even mentioned her towering figure or the blinding light she’s apparently emitting. All of this comes together to create a being so foreign in their own show she sears her image into your mind with her brilliance and stark, contrasting features.

Starlight's Intro
Hello, I am Starlight and I use she/her pronouns. My main kintype is Pearl from Steven Universe, as well as White Diamond and Opal from Steven Universe as well. My full kintype list will be below.
I am like the mom friend of the system. I enjoy quiet activities like reading or journaling and highly enjoy word search puzzles as well. I love hot cocoa, and I am also objectum with a partner Sweet, who is a jar of sparkly pink lip gloss. My love language is chores or self care for our body and I also am quite fond of Christmas and snow aesthetics, as well as coconut flavored things!
I also have a lot of religious trauma. Please do not bring up religion to me unless I explicitly do so first. Any of my talks on the subject will be under the hashtag "Starlight bible reading" so if you're uncomfortable with such topics, feel free to filter that tag to be safe.

part 2 of my xmen/steven universe yaps
I decided to make Scott a Painite, which in my au I'm going to say is a Topaz/Ruby/Sapphire fusion for the following reasons: A) Outfit + Vibes B) Impeccable planning; could be because of the future vision he has from being partially a sapphire, but one could also argue he doesn't know he has future vision because he doesn't know what gems make him.
C) Topazes seem to function as soldiers/enforcers and such. Rubies as soldiers, and sapphires as strategists(?). All things that make the great leader that Scott is.
And since canonically, both his parents are dead, in this au, his mom was the fusion and then his dad died in whatever canonical way he died. (I forgor). He was the first of the team found by Professor X, and Professor X decided to make him the team leader. (Painite is top right, middle is topaz then sapphire, bottom is ruby.)
bicolor sapphires are a thing!?!?!? WHY ARE BLUE AND YELLOW BICOLOR SAPPHIRES ALL I CAN FIND LOOKING FOR A GOOD GEM FOR NIGHTCRAWLER!?!?!?!?
A silly little Steven Universe/Xmen AU bc im bored #1
I decided to start first with Morph bc they're my favorite. I personally think they'd be a clear quartz, for the following reasons: A) General Vibes + their main form just looks like a quartz B) I feel like White Diamond would obviosuly not work because like... she's a diamond. Why would this creature be her kid? Let alone her?? C) shapeshifter + clear quartz can reflect many different colors, just like their silly, gooft multifaceted personality. I want to say their gem placement would be either their chest or the middle of their back. Since in the show, they have the ability to copy people's powers when they shapeshift into them, I feel like it just makes the most sense, because I think it'd be cool for a clear quartz to have power copying capabilities- Morph is likely still a gem and not in fact a gem's kid, but I can dream!
Malachite is still in co-front. She may make more posts here today, in fact the spam reblog this morning was her. I think she is excited to be back and wants to interact more, so of course we shall oblige. If she stays in front it'll be interesting, we have to train someone today but she says she does remember how to do our job so she may be capable of training, or at least being in co-front while Starlight or King trains. I ain't training, I don't have the patience for that shit. /silly - Jasper
