ăăăIn his time here, Chaucer had very well seen a handful of atrocities that left him shaken, or filled with the desire to do what was in his power to help bring good to the people around him. For someone who lacked too much physical prowess, it was only fair that he overflowed with other means of assistance, and Chaucer found himself seeking to heal people daily; regardless of status or location, unless he was busied with a job, his free time was spent wandering until he came across someone in need of support.
ăTherefore, when he came upon a small group of people directing some less than positive words towards a particular individual, Chaucer couldnât stop himself before heâd trotted over, breaking through the insults and commanding distance between the threatening group and the individual on the receiving end of their negativity.
ăăăâăYou should be ashamed to be ganginâ up on some stranger, donât you have anything more productive to be doing?â His chest puffed up a bit, but it seemed that the few that had amassed werenât really prepared for confrontation. When theyâd dispersed with a few mutters and a final handful of insults, the cleric huffed, turning to the other individual behind him. He hoped he hadnât stepped on someoneâs pride as he did, quickly making eye contact and rubbing the back of his head.
âAh-- I hope they didnât cause you too much trouble, sorry... Yâkinda seemed irritated so I... couldnât really stop myself before I jumped in.â
