Can you explain the joke behind the triple banded mice?
Of course, haha!
Okay so, mice have standards that , in order to show them, they need to abide by!
A black mouse needs to have no white hairs!
A tan mouse needs to have a lovely, rich, tan belly with smooth lines!
Chocolate needs to be a rich brown color, etcetc!
So with banded, they’re only supposed to have ONE band! That goes around the midsection and with smooth lines!

However, there is an exception to this!
With coated varieties (satin, texel, aby, angora, etc!) The markings and colors don’t have to be perfect- because they’re not judged on those! They’re judged on the quality of coat!
So my plan is to make the utmost horrible, internal screaming possible (yet still pleasing to the eye) mouse - but then smack a coated variety on it so it can still show! Y’know
make the judges lose faith in humanity a lil bit
It keeps them on their toes!!! :P
