An old WoF OC I redesigned today. Dawnwalker is a young male NightWing who's a character in the fan story I am very slowly working on: JMSC. More under the cut.

JMSC will get an explanation at a later-ish date, but basically it's just a story where Jade Mountain Academy is a summer camp instead (hence the 'SC' and not 'A'). He's part of the Amber Winglet (will explain the name in a later post as well). Besides that, I honestly don't have much info for you about him ToT

He has the gift of prophecy/foresight! His ability is pretty average-level, nothing fancy here.

Ah, 2022. Year of the Wonk. Look how yellow he is. I kind of still like this design, but I think the new one is a good improvement. For starters, he actually looks like a sunrise now. So.

I’ve had awful art block lately, but Scarlet has set me free.

My headcanon voice for her is Susan Sarandon’s portrayal of Queen Narissa from Enchanted. It’s perfectly villainous, theatrical, on the deeper side, and has a fittingly raspy quality to it. It helps that many of Narissa’s lines sound exactly like something Scarlet would say. I ended up listening to her lines on loop for the duration of this sketch. Also ended up drawing inspiration from her for Scarlet’s physical appearance as well. They’re both evil queens so it fits.

Final sketch paired with my first iteration. Didn’t give her any jewelry this time around but I’ve got some concepts in the works.
