I’ve noticed something that has been irking me for a while, it’s really tough to be a girl in the animeverse.Most female characters just seem to be there for the main male to get sad over losing, for fanservice, or for the lovely shippers on the internet to have something to ship.There are very few strong female characters that get given a decent amount of screentime and the chance to develop into a powerful force to be reckoned with, it’s a damn shame.

But all is not lost, your senpai Kai will count down 10 badass females that have broke the mould in the animeverse.

Badass female 10 - Medusa Gorgon ( Soul Eater )

To be an interesting villain you need to be more than just really strong with hammy lines about being evil.Medusa’s cold and calculated ways made her the most entertaining villain in Soul Eater ( Sorry Arachne and fuck that overpowered turd Asura ) Medusa might not have the powerful magic, but her intelligence makes her always a threat.You might defeat her the first time, but chances are she’s already 5 steps ahead, taking advantage of Stein’s madness showed how cunning she can really be.

From attempting to turn her sweet only son evil to taking the body of an innocent girl so no one could stop her without hurting the little girl, damn Medusa’s evil.
