The moment I noticed I had a couple chocolate shrimp they quickly became my favourite colour. if the light hits them right you can see the mix of red and blue that makes up that deep brown.

Ironically, this fella just got done fighting off the shrimp beneath him for food, only to crawl on top of him instead of actually eating said food.

I might add a couple blue shrimp (or more reds?) and see if I can get more in this colour. I have no idea if this is "true" chocolate colour, though, or which line they count as. My colony is made up of bloody marys and "cull" wild-types, but I've had a couple deep blues pop up. Either way, watching their genes come and go is a treat!

I got a bonded trio of macrognathus circumcinctus babies and they’re so so so cute

And whats EXTRA cute is they seem to think Fettuccine, my 8 year old macrognathus aral, is so so cool, and probably mama
