am i defined by this image
how do you choose your color pallet for a drawing? (I usually just go off vibes and it shows in my drawings š„)
Going off vibes isnāt a bad thing, thatās what I do most of the time! If using a reference Iāll get the colours as close to the ref as possible then change the colour balance afterwards. I personally up the saturation as I like my art to be vibrant.
If thereās no reference Iāll put a gradient map over my sketch and see which pallet works best then render over based off that.
The joy of digital art is that you can just change the colours whenever you want! I had a look at your work and I really like the earthy tones you use!

š«¶š thank you so much!!
Hello!
I really love your blog & art, and was wondering what your favorite things to draw are, and what part of your creative process you enjoy most!
Thank you so much!! My favourite things to draw are fish tbh! (especially salmon lol) I always end up back to them. My favourite part of my creative process is probably the colouring/ rendering stage. Itās satisfying seeing the idea come together ā¤ļø
