Then I went ahead and found a yt post about who'd win in a fight and right then and there. I had the urge to make this.
Summarizing my current feelings of tadc as it was written with a thing? (And Goose's lack of directing and writing skills. Along with Pomni. I didn't think I'd hate her this much)
"You're not supposed to feel bad for Jax, her backstory is just an explanation for her behavior, not an excuse!"
Meanwhile the framing in the show:
Aww, look at her! Isn't she an adorable girl? Get out of here
Feel sympathy for Jax even though she hurt the person who's hugging her right now (who, mind you, almost died in Jax's arms). Don't have Pomni call Jax out on her bullshit and hug her instead while they both cry. Will Jax show genuine remorse for the things she's done? No. Will Jax get consequences for her actions (death isn't one)? No. Will Jax get a redemption arc? No. Is Jax a well written cautionary tale? No because her story isn't framed as one despite the intent. Will Jax mention any of her victims? Say how much she wishes she had made different choices? Apologize for anything? No, no and no!
Amanda's comment doesn't help either
No wonder people associate Jax with just her transness, draw her like this girly girl and forget the other characters (Jax's victims)
(A random little idea that struck me)
What if..
The Male Pomni while also inmediately getting a good amount spite from the cast. Also does something that the og Pomni (the one from canon) seemingly didn't have the capacity for since Male Pomni actually got to engage/chat/meet Caine on a human adjacent level.
Call out everyone on their own hypocrisies.

I wanna thank every Showtimer in TADC fandom. It’s time for me to go. I’ve decided to leave TADC fandom to enjoy other things. The soulmate au will be discontinued sadly. But I will allow everyone to come up with their own versions of it. Thank you all for the support. It means a lot to me. You are all the coolest people I’ve met. I’ll miss you all.
