A fish swims into a jellyfish. It sounds like the start of a joke, but believe it or not, a fish actually did swim into a jellyfish. Take a look at these pictures to see this bizarre and oddly beautiful spectacle for yourself.
The picture was taken by Australian photographer Tim Samuel, who uploaded the snap to his Instagram account last December. Tim saw the flummoxed fish while out free diving in Byron Bay with a friend. Nobody quite knows how it managed to get in there (alcohol may have been involved) but despite its obvious disadvantage, the fish was still able to control the movements of the equally hapless jellyfish. Unsurprisingly, Sam says he’s never seen anything quite like this during his five years as a photographer. (Source)
I love how the fish’s face in the 2nd photo seems to say “oh, fuck. What’ve I done??”
Cindy Baedman’s “Healing Grotto”:
“The healing grotto I created in order to work specifically with children. I had been practising as a healer and counsellor at Bath Natural Health Clinic for some time, as well as at the Cancer Self-help Centre in Bristol with Dr. Mike Weir and felt a need to ‘lighten up’. Hence after eighteen months of work, plus very many loving gifts from sometimes complete strangers, my old coal vault under the pavement of Royal Crescent in Bath, was successfully transformed into a beautiful grotto. Here I not only worked with children but also with adults sent by my local GP in various stages of mental distress such as schizophrenia.”
