we sent our hounds in mechs to space to battle fucked up eldritch horrors from outside comprehension and they came back um completely fused with their machines. our scientists would cut inside one to see where the machine ends and the flesh begins but quite frankly that would hurt them and we're not sure there's a difference. handlers have had to start wearing their own big bulky mechs to properly talk with them like they used to. every night we hear hounds and their handles clanking and whirring outside our human-sized buildings. i talked to our engineers they confirmed that theyre moving and squirming with a level of precision that was never even possible given the technology. this is fucked up and scary but the girls are loving it. i hear there are handlers going out to the site to get themselves merged with their machines as well. budget for our stupid tiny human buildings has been going down and all we ever hear nowadays is the clanking and whirring of our good units getting freaky in the hangar. does anyone know what to do about this. i feel like we're losing
