so. season 8 kinda killed my obsession with this show, which is mostly what lead to me disappearing for so long lol

but! i saw the trailer for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and I am suddenly so HYPED

idk if im gonna be rping here again(at least not yet) but I will probably spill my thoughts here as I rewatch GoT(up to season 6, cause thats the last time it was really good lmao) in preparation

In case no one’s aware, and I know it’s hard to tell based on my writing, Maeris does have a rather thick northern(Scottish) accent. This due mostly to the great amount of contact the Isles have with the Wildlings, and the near isolation to those in the south.

It gets so thick as to almost unintelligable when she’s pissed, but most of the time it’s that kinda comforting, lilting voice of someone who cares about what they’re talking about. It can be quite soothing to just listen to her, sometimes.
