Brilliant parallel between these two scenes by SE.  In the reactor 5 bombing mission, Cloud is clinging to the ledge and about to fall. Tifa wants to help him, but Cloud tells Barret to take Tifa and save themselves. Tifa doesn’t want to leave him, but Barret scoops her up and bolts.  Cloud then falls.  Tifa thinks that Cloud is dead. She is relieved to see him as she’s going to wallmarket. Tifa thought she’d never see Cloud again and that he was lost on that mission, no doubt she felt immense guilt as she was there yet couldn’t help him. She already felt guilty over the first bombing mission and felt she put him in danger and apologized for it. Then on the next bombing mission, she sees Cloud fall to his apparent death.  At the Shinra building, Cloud once again tells Barret to take the others and leave. This time, Barret wants to stay and help Cloud, but eventually he leaves with the group. Cloud is left to face Rufus alone. Rufus escapes on a helicopter while Cloud is forced off the ledge. Once again he his clinging to the ledge and about to fall.  But Tifa catches him. She almost lost Cloud once. She’s not losing him again.

Hello! How are you? I want to ask about Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia. Is it true Cloud are so protective to Tifa? I want to play that game but my phone is potato so i cant play it 😭 im curious about the story there. Will it be just fanservice or AU or original FF story attached even its just minimum. I’m doing pretty well anon, thanks for asking! And sorry, I haven’t played that game so I can’t say if he was or not. I just know that Square Enix hired cosplayers for Cloud and Tifa during their promotional event for that game in 2017 and the cosplayers were very cozy lol.
