In Starlink battle for atlas, it was confirmed Slippy's cooking was "bad". It even scared the shit out of Falco and Fox lmao. I think species is the main problem here. And I got a strange gut feeling that Bill ate his cooking back in the Academy, and Krystal might like it...

If we're talking cooking headcanons I can answer that

Fox: Can reheat leftovers and make stovetop instant food. Specialty is instant ramen with cheese

Falco: Can't really make anything other than grilled and fried things, but he's really good at grilled and fried things. Specialty is cheeseburgers with the special sauce and caramelized onions

Slippy: Absolute garbage, his mom and Amanda do the cooking at home. Specialty is The Mystery Stew

Peppy: Housewife level, he pushed himself to learn a lot of cleaning and cooking techniques when Vivian died so that he could take care of Lucy to the best of his ability. When Peppy got older, Lucy learned a lot of dishes so that she could pay it back to her dad. Specialty is vegetable paella.

Krystal: Really good at making dishes out of stuff you forage in the wild because of the way she grew up. Specialty is roast fish with mixed berry sauce

Fay: More of a baker than a chef. Specialty is chocolate lava cake

Miyu: Does not cook. Specialty is whatever she just bought at the market

I would like to think the original / 1993 Fox McCloud's design is Fox's paternal grandfather. I once found cute fan art of 1993 Fox and baby Fox, and 1993 Fox says, "My grandson".

The 1993 Fox has gray eyes and a lighter color scheme, so I'd like to think James inherited his mother's green eyes and light brown fur. I mean, the 2026 model of James's fur is light brown here, and James does have green eyes.

Grandpa McCloud genes never stood a chance lol. Just a cute reference to the 1993 Fox McCloud puppet XD

I know. James and Vixy are the only blood relatives Fox knows, cuz Nintendo says so, but I often wonder if Fox ever met his grandparents off-screen from both of his parents' sides.
