tonight is the last night in virginia.. back home we go. it's been a good stress free, relaxing and fun week. did absolutely nothing but eat, sleep, play and shop! :) i am absolutely in love with the pool here, big, clean and with a water slide! kylie loves the pool also! i am so amazed but i am so happy she had a good time. she spent time with her grandma, aunties, and cousins. we barely see them but i'm happy she's so comfortable with them. back to new york we go, back to reality, back to work. i hope we can come back next month so kylie can go to the pool again before this summer ends. until next time... we are back to reality for now ..

i've been so busy.. busy working and busy spending time with my little girl. she's learning so much each and every single day and i don't want to miss any of it. she is such a sassy girl with a personality. she's a character. she makes me laugh, and gives me so much joy to get through my days. i don't know what i would do without her. i took her to the beach for the first time the other day and boy was she scared! she does not like the sand! haha, she just wanted to be held. i guess i won't be going to the beach for awhile! :(

for the last two and a half months, we've moved and have been trying to settle down. it's been hectic with vu remodeling our place and him having to work leaves us having absolutely no time in our hands for anything else, and i'm busy watching kylie. but everything is starting to come together. kylie has her own room, but not like she sleeps in her room anyway, but it's cute to decorate and stuff. she finally has her own play area in our living room which she loves! i'm glad she loves it. makes me happy. other than that, vu's brother visited from virginia last weekend and we went to six flags. first time i spent a whole day away from kylie, of course i missed her but it felt good to be able to have fun. my parents watched her, and I'm thankful for them. my parents are the only people i trust with kylie when i'm not around. i guess i'm one of those physco protective mom's but i can't help it! she's my little girl and i'm way to attached to her. lol, other than that we're taking a trip back to virginia in about two weeks. i'm excited to go to take kylie to the pool there. i love the pool, and i hope kylie does too. until then, i'll just continue being a housewife, and i sure do feel like one.

summer is here and i'm excited. i lost out on all the fun last summer because i just gave birth and kylie was too small to go out. i just want to live at the beach all summer long. seriously. if i could i would. the beach is my favorite place. plus this summer is even more exciting because i got all these cute outfits for kylie to wear. i went a little overboard on shopping for her but i can't help it, all these baby clothes are just too cute... especially on her. lol oh the joy i have when i buy her cute clothes, and even more joy if she would ever let me take pictures of her in her outfits, apparently it is very hard too, haha

I think i'm one of those crazy moms that stay at home and shop online 24/7 for their kid. lol

Go to a coffee shop. Sit by the bar with the glass windows and look out. Look at all the people running to catch a train. All the girls with one too many shopping bags. All the couples too in love to care. Then you’ll see it - a bit of yourself in everyone. And somehow, sitting alone in a coffee shop had never felt so good.

One year ago today, at 2:53 pm, I became a mother to the most beautiful and innocent 5 lbs 7 oz baby girl. She has brought so much love, joy and happiness to my life. This past year has been the best year of my life being able to watch you grow each and every single day. From being the small premie baby you were to the little girl you are today. It’s crazy how a whole year flew by so fast and it amazes me how much you have learned and still continue to learn every day. From learning to crawl to walking, from saying mama, dada and telling people that they are bad, from fake crying and laughing, smiling, dancing, singing and making those silly faces that you make. Kylie, you have been the biggest blessing in my life. You have taught me what true love is which requires selflessness. You have taught me patience and most importantly, you have taught me the struggle and hard work of a full time job of being a mother. I went from being a 19 year old girl to a 19 year old mom. I gave up almost everything to become your mother but I would never regret that. You mean everything to me and I will teach you, protect you, guide you, and support you for the rest of your life. Mommy loves you Kylie Madison. Happy 1st birthday baby girl! 😊❤️

Usually I loose track of the day of the month it is because I have absolutely nothing to look forward too but weekends (when vu has off) but today, I found myself looking at the calendar only to realize that it's almost the end of april already! one month passes so quick it's crazy. Kylie will be turning 11 months! you know what that means right? she will be ONE in one short month! in one blink of an eye, it seemed like it's almost been a whole year already. i cannot believe it. but my baby girl is getting big, and that just means theres a whole lot planning to do for her first birthday. i already know the theme I will be having for her. just need to take a stop at michael's to buy some supplies to do some DIYS for her big day! can't believe it and can't wait! i'm gonna make this day SPECIAL for her because she deserves nothing but the best. :)
