The discovery of the statue of Antinous in Delphi, Greece in 1894
Really obsessed with this one like how old cameras worked making everyone blurry against the statue and just makes you realize how long the statue has been right. There.
when mary oliver said ‘if you suddenly and unexpectedly feel joy, don’t hesitate. give in to it.’
and mahmoud darwish said ‘and if happiness should surprise you again, do not mention its previous betrayal.
enter into the happiness, and burst.’

TAURUS RISING CULTURE ✨ 💌
a/n i personally find taurus risings to be extremely beautiful maybe it’s due to my taurus Venus but there’s always something breathtaking about taurus risings...
- tend to be more on the voluptuous side. I’ve observed with those around me is are still just as beautiful even if they tend to be more bulkier than the beauty standard
- they have really nice hair!!! majority I know have wavy or curly hair also tend to be thick
- the sweetest ppl once you get to know them as they look quite cold at first glance
- easygoing ppl
- they have powerful auras, I frequently observe them leading the friendgroup or being the main character in a duo as well
- they have the nicest lips it’s not fair
- nice eyes and eyelashes too sculpted by Aphrodite
- they look much better in real life than photos
- tend to be in relationships a lot or are frequently associated with someone else
- tend to have chubby hands
- really close with family brings them up a lot in conversations
- OPINIONATED will speak their mind and will not sugarcoat their thoughts
- trustworthy people and they expect others to be trustworthy too
- always something going on with their hair or makeup I have taurus rising friends who frequently dye their hair or change up their makeup look
- observant people
- calculated and driven people. i love being around them because they project a sense of having purpose in life
- very loyal ppl both in friendships and relationships
- very respectful people
- goes out of their way to make others feel comfortable
- they have big hearts especially for those in situations different to theirs
- compassionate souls
- the type to smile at strangers passing by
- it’s kind of hard to describe but taurus risings have an odd way of walking like it kind of looks like they’re half limping?
- they get overwhelmed easily and have quick tempers
- very feminine figures even the males are in touch with their feminine side
- they kind of dress goth or cottagecore there’s no in between
- anything they wear suits them
- they’re always eating or thinking about their next meal
- they enjoy the company of friends a lot. always seem to be sleeping over at their friend’s house
- just overall angels I appreciate taurus risings so much
