Chrom left the camp for some fresh air. He had a lot in his mind, and coiled up in his tent was doing nothing for him. Besides, being out in the open gave him a chance to be alone with his thoughts, without anyone intruding him at any moment. He was free for the time being, but he knew he would need to head back soon. But for now, he mustn’t think of his duties.
On his way through a clear and breezy field, he slowed his steps to enjoy every second. That was when he noticed a figure nearby, occupied with his own thing, pulling the reins of a horse. He seemed tall and stylish, golden hair bouncing gracefully down on his shoulders. Chrom recognised this man in the instant.
❝Eltshan… The Lion King?❞
The stranger surely looked like him, but the man appeared without his blue glowing aura, as he should whenever Allium summoned him out of the Einherjar card deck. Instead he looked like any individual, a man, and in this case he was one who was walking with a companion, perhaps trying to calm it before taking a ride to his destination.
But he wasn’t just anyone, he looked like Eltshan, although with a more sorrowful appearance, perhaps? It could just be Chrom looking too much into something without approaching it first. And so he walked on over, making sure to not assume the man’s name and decided to treat him as he would a total stranger. He raised a hand to wave while a small smile formed on his face. He was ready to welcome this man into these lands.
❝Greetings!❞
Eltshan quietly reminding himself that he could not turn his head, instead he turned his body to the man who called out to him. Tired eyes widened and for a moment he spoke quietly.
"...Sigurd?"
No, it was not as the man drew closer while pulling the horse along gently. Perhaps it was the demeanor and blue hair that would have given the man those thoughts. Bringing a hand to his neck to keep the sash in place he slightly inclined his head forward to give greeting to the Lord.
"A pleasure, sir. Pray you forgive, but I've little idea where I surely may be. Might I inquire for assistance?"
