the irony of me zoning out during a philosophy class to think about the good place is heavy, but i just wanted to ramble about how perfect the ending was because the thing that never fails to make me cry is when a character peacefully dies after living a long, happy, fulfilling life with the people they love. cap that off with tahani managing to find a way to help all the people she didn’t help in her life, and michael getting to live the human life he always wanted to, and even mindy st. claire breaking her cycle of existence and agreeing to try to form some real bonds with other people…………and you have me sitting in a corner with my eyeshadow running because this is the exact level of emotional pain i needed from this show. they ended it the best way they possibly could and i’m so glad.

hi everyone i just finished the finale and i’m a fucking wreck

hello people, let’s talk about something i’ve been wondering about since season three: michael’s childhood pet, korzoff the ten-headed dog spider. 

this brings up several questions. first of all, since when do demons get a childhood? how do they emerge into existence? michael at one point mentions millennials, demons who have only been torturing for a thousand years. michael was “born” at the beginning of time, but that might not be true for every demon. was he one of the first? were there demons before time? is korzoff himself a demon? how do demons get classified as pets? most importantly, is there a baby demon daycare hidden somewhere in the bad place, and is it being used as a form of torture?

that aside, i mostly want to know what korzoff looks like. there are a few different routes we could go, such as a giant spider with ten heads that look like dogs, or a dog with eight legs and ten furry spider heads (eighty eyes in total. maybe this is some kind of elf on the shelf situation). or any variation of the two. the third option is that “korzoff the ten-headed dog spider” was the pet’s name, because that’s what he actually entered into the system, and it was just, like, a cat.

generally i just want to know more about michael’s backstory before torturing and i need a visual of korzoff the ten-headed dog spider. that’s all. happy holidays.
