Stunning Ultra High Definition Moon Photography Made By Self Taught Astrophotographer Merging 32,000 Shots Into One

Polish Photographer Bartosz Wojczyński took an astounding 28 minutes to capture 32,000 images of the moon and the resulting ultra-high definition image was a colossal 73.5 gigabytes in file size. The self-taught amateur astrophotographer dedicated 5-6 hours to merge the images together as one and the extremely accurate and highly detailed image shows an incredible picture of the moon.

Bruce Riley is a talented Chicago-based artist who creates beautifully psychedelic paintings of poured paint and dripping resin. His artworks contain a blinding myriad of details and structures that form surreal creatures or psychedelic mandalas.

Riley says that most of his creations are the result of pure improvisation and experimentation. “You can’t have any other intent but moving. You can’t worry about it, you can’t stop, you can’t choke. It’s obvious when it works. It’s obvious when it fails,” poetically explains the Riley. “The paintings aren’t about specific things, they’re all about kind of the same thing. And I’m not really trying to define any ideas, I just let it flow.”

a newly discovered species of spider - the jotus remus, a jumping spider about the size of an apple seed found in australia - has an unusual ‘hard to get’ courtship ritual. when courting a female, the male hides on the underside of a leaf occupied by a female, and uses the heart shaped paddle on its leg to get her attention.

jumping spiders are known for their elaborate courtships, but no other jumping spider has ever been seen to display this kind of ‘peekaboo’ behaviour, nor is any other spider known to have these paddles (or remus in latin) on any of their legs.  (video)
