i keep telling myself to come on and do things and make this a real roleplay blog but then i do and i look at my dash and remember that’ I’ve tried so many times before only to get ignored. maybe i shoulda tried making a male oc. but then i remember my canon male blogs got ignored too and oh hey depression is back.

finally home from my doctors appointment. I learned I have a heart murmur and my doc ordered some tests done. joy. I’m now tired af and gonna grab some food before i lay down and then I’m gonna be on later to try to flesh out Kate’s bio some more and work on her verse pages.

I have an appointment with my new GP doc and I haven’t seen a doctor outside of emergency needs in like nine years. I have this feeling I’m in for a world of bad talk. but I don’t leave for another three hours so I’m just gonna work on my verse page.

is kate mutant or inhuman?

Mutant. I’m fully aware that there are inhumans in the comics and that Marvel Flims cant use the word ‘mutant’ because Sony/Fox has the rights to x-men but she’s a mutant. I can go the Inhuman thing if an MCU rper would rather but yeah.. no Kate’s a mutant

PSA- where the mun is in canon (mcu and 616)

Mcu: Pretty much all upto date on all films. I have seen up to the end of season 3 of AOS (I don’t have cable and suck at keeping track of episodes online so waiting for Netflix to update), Working on getting to Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. Not sure if/when I will get around to watching Iron Fist. 616: I cherry pick ok. I’ve weaved in and out of the comics for decades mostly because I’m a broke ass and aint got the money to spend on buying them BUT I try to get updated to things going on in universe. That said this blog does NOT acknowledge the nazotrashcap that Marvel has shoved down our throats and never will. This blog will not have anything to do with Secret Empire. I consider it uncanon, and it means as much to me as Ultimates does, which is little. I LOVE Deaf!Clint Barton so give me that. I LOVE Cap!Bucky. Anything with Natasha? Yes please. if I don’t know something I will look it up or I’m happy to be informed.

Considering this is an OC blog I ofcourse don’t have comic icons for my character. I will either continue to use Ksenia or i will go imageless, but please feel free to use icons, gif icons or no images how ever you wish!

Young and mildly inexperienced, sure, but definitely not a child. She earned her spot on that team, proved herself to Xavier, and now she was gonna prove herself to this woman too.

Raelene’s expression turned serious. It wasn’t a usual sight for her, but she would never let people think of her any less without even seeing what she was capable of.

“With all due respect, Miss, I was put on this team for a reason. I may be young, but age is has nothing to do with the ability to control one’s powers.” Raelene slowed down her breathing. She could feel herself getting worked up. Or rather, she could feel the tendrils on her back threatening to burst out, ironically.

“Just look at Shadowcat, or Magik. They’re probably only a few years older than me."

She pressed the mist into his temple, making him believe he was in the void of space, making it feel like the air was being dragged from his lungs and his very blood feeling like it was boiling.
