//School has been pretty hectic for the past couple of weeks, which is why I haven't been online. I'll try and do some replies today!

Makoto crosses her arms, looking challengingly at him.

☾ ~ “I do not mean to pry, would you care to tell? If it must be kept a secret, then there is no need to tell,” Her majesty smiled. She couldn’t help but give Jupiter a laughing gleam. Her hand on her cheek as she laughed. Serenity could not bother the guardian princesses about this matter, but it would be nice to know a bit of what her daughter has been doing. The queen wouldn’t push her request too far if her companion felt uncomfortable about it.

"Well, all I know is that she seems a lot.. happier lately. I mean, the princess is always happy, but.." Jupiter trailed off, not knowing how else to explain it without outright telling the queen about her princess and the prince. "..it's just different somehow."

Jupiter had never felt like that before, so she wouldn't know how to explain it completely!

  “…Um I was trying to get something,              and I froze…so uh yeah.”

Kagome placed her feet onto one of the first items making her way down, once she was on the ground she sighed softly.

                       ”Thank you.”

"No problem! It happens to the best of us." She giggled. "So hey, what's your name? I don't think I've ever seen you around these parts."

She settled back down on her heels, a worried look upon her face. “You seemed a little out of it. Is something on your mind?”

"Nothing at all!" Makoto laughed it off easily. "I was just thinking of everything I have to do today. Grocery shopping and all that."

But it wasn't like her to space out for so long like that. Maybe she was getting sick?

         ”Excuse me! I don’t mean to bother you              but can you help me down from here?              I am kind of stuck at the moment.”

Makoto blinked. "How'd you get stuck up there in the first place?" She asked, moving objects around so the girl could safely climb down. Once she had made a makeshift staircase, she gave the girl a thumbs up to let her know it was safe.

Moving from her place beside her friend, Usagi stood in front of her, lifting herself on her tip toes to somewhat be eye level with the dazed girl. She waved a hand in front of her face.

"Oi, Mako-chan!"

"Oh! Usagi-chan!" Makoto exclaimed, nearly jumping out of her skin. "You startled me! What's wrong?"

All she needed to hear was ‘try this out’ and she was bounding right over to the brunette at mach speed.

"Yeeeees?"

"Wow, you sure got here fast." She commented, and then patted the still-wrapped bento next to her. "I was trying out a new blend of spices, and I wanted someone's opinion."

☾ ~ The queen laughed at Jupiter’s statement. “She is my daughter after all,” Serenity said, “I believe something had happened. I would like your word about it. It seems the princess found happiness.” This was something she was assuming and it was probably true since her little princess had a gleam in her eyes. The day has come that her prayers have came true and yet, she wanted to know what had happened. “Have you noticed it, dear Jupiter?” Her majesty asked.

"Now that you mention it.." Jupiter started, making a bit of a show of pondering her majesty's questions. She couldn't give too much away, after all.. "She has been acting differently lately, but she doesn't tell us anything."

Well, it was true. She tried to hide it for the longest time, and still tried even now, when all of her guardians knew her secret!

   ”The biggest cake, you say? That’s a pretty ambitious goal… Would you like some help?”

"If you're offering!" Makoto tied an apron around her waist and gestured towards the ingredients and materials on the counter. "I was planning on making plain old vanilla cake, but if you have any better ideas.."

Jadeite tilted his head, looking at the girl. She was familiar… but. Hm. Perhaps she’d been on the news. Either way, her watching grew irritating after a few moments.

"A picture would last longer."

"Oh! I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to stare!" Makoto shook her head, clearly embarassed. "You just looked kind of familiar and I was wondering where I'd seen you before."
