“... Wily took my family from me. He killed my brother and tore my family apart. I have every right to give that man the full 10,000 volts, but...! I’m still programmed with the stupid three laws of robotics! And a robot cannot harm a human!”

Elec kicks a bucket as hard as he can and sends it flying. Then he buries his face in his hands.

“Damn it, Light. Why did you have to be such a goody two shoes? If only I could override... T-Then everything would be okay, right? Wily would be dead, and I might get terminated, but everyone would be okay... The world would be safe...”

(( Ehhh I’m ending that M!A. Seemed like fun at first but I’m kinda bored already. ))

Top looked the fugitive over and only held his hands up in a mild defense. He wasn’t there to attack. There were bigger reasons he was there. Information. That and a live fugitive beats a dead one any day. He may have been partly Light’s robot, but this world wasn’t one that would keep the bot so kind and soft. He was a Wily build after all. 

“Calm your systems. I am not here to attack you. I only want information. I can think of no one better than you for that. You seem to know what is going on better than anyone else. I want you to know I am not a threat.”

“You... Don’t know?”

Elec leaned back, crossing his arms.

“Wily killed Mega Man. He killed my little brother, and took over the world. We Lightbots became outlaws, and now we’re on the run. I was running to try to scavenge for supplies for my brother and I. We travel together, but the rest of my family got separated. I haven’t seen them in a long time. We can’t message each other out of fear our messages will be tracked.”

Just means you can sneak in and get supplies you need. ~Dexter

“... That’s true. But you explain this to Cut Man. He’ll attack me if he sees me like this.”

“Yes, of course! Lets turn the Lightbot who’s RUNNING AWAY FROM THE WILYBOTS INTO A WILYBOT.”

[Fires the canon, watches at Peter flies and hits the poor DLN in the butt with the with the dart needle] ~The Twins

“Ow!!”

[Puts Peter in a canon with the dart needle] Try not to move, Elec ~Thomas

“Well I’m sure as hell not staying still!”

He runs for it. Poor guy.

“W-Wilybot!”

The word rang through the air. It was dark, save for the eerie glow cast from the optics of the two robots. The word echoed down the alley and disappeared into the night air.

He backed up, pressing his back against the cold brick wall. He might be able to scale it...

“S-Stay away! D-Don’t make me hurt you!”

Cut stumbled slightly when he was tugged, but complied when Elec told him to run down the alley. He was less out of breath than Elec was, but he was still panting. He looked over at the other DLN, frowning.

He followed Elec when he started walking, helping him walk. “Here, let me do most of the work. Y’can’t walk well. Which direction is the shelter in?”

“Thanks... A-Ah...”

He shook his head again. Thoughts are getting blurry.

“Th... That way...”

He weakly lifted his arm, pointing down the alley. There was a narrow passage they could travel through. The network of alleys would lead them right to the warehouse district. Elec leaned against Cut Man, eyes half lidded. He was hardly able to support himself anymore. It was vital they got to safety quickly.

“Hurry! Down this alley!”

It was raining and dark. Lightning cracked overhead, followed by loud crashes of thunder. The rain was pouring down from the dark sky, soaking the two fugitives. He tugged Cut Man into an alley as the police cars passed, sirens wailing. They sped on by, missing the two outlaws. Elec slumped over, trying to catch his breath. 

“I could use a damn E-Tank right now, but we’re out. We’re going to have to find a place to settle for the night. C’mon, I think the warehouse district isn’t too far. We might be able to find decent shelter there.”

Elec Man pushed himself to his feet, swaying and shaking his head. He wasn’t in a very good condition. He was getting worn down.
