A clearly seen overworked and exhausted Nozel Silva had been the one to greet them, Chien-Pao as his support. Apparently, it seems that the captain was incapacitated for now, the Pokemon speaking through him. The Ruinous Pokemon did attempt mimicking their chosen and how would he act.
“…The Vice Captain is not here.”
"tch...damnit."
Gabe says, running a hand through his hair.
"any ideas Kieran could be then?"
Both bodies tilt their heads.
Then the right front paw of Chien-Pao and Nozel’s right arm move at the same time.
“I don’t know a lot about the Spatial Judge. But I would say that ever since the Valkyrie Retainer attempted to reclaim the shards she lost in a battle with him… she was incapacitated and left at Queen Lolopechka’s care.”
"we head there then"
The Silver Eagles’ captain made a face no one would expect him to do.
Then again, with Chien-Pao calling the shots, one could suppose that the unexpected could happen.
“Do you seriously think you’ll be welcomed?”
The duo walks to block their way.
“The Heart Kingdom is not where someone can waltz in and out. And ever since the Judge’s fights with the Valkyrie… how do you think you’ll be welcomed, much less by Lixa themselves, that poor Pecharunt having to suffer beatdowns from Palkia’s warden twice just because of the Imperial Sword?”
The Ruinous Treasure asks
"then what do you suppose we do then?"
Gabe asks, a hand on the supreme creator sword.
“Don’t you find the Renegade’s Blade a bit… suspicious?”
They cock their heads to the left.
The Mawile in the room just sighs.
"....what"
Gabe says, confused but still on edge.
Ice and Mercury swirl around the room, the temperature dropping.
“Come on, you’re smarter than that. The Blade let you come without resistance?”
"...your fucking kidding me."
Gabe says, before sighing.
"so they're being controlled?!"
Annoyance waa clear in both Nozel’s and Chien-Pao’s faces.
“Do I have to spell it out?!”
The mercury and ice formed a knife and a heart, then the knife stabbed it.
“Someone’s connected the wrong dots together and that someone let you investigate even though you should be resting!”
"...huh?"
Gabe says, confused
"I shouldn't though I'm fine, actually this time"
“Ugh, you know what?”
The Ruinous Pokemon grumbles.
“Fuck it! If you want to try talking to the Valkyrie Retainer, I’ll put in a word!”
The temperature returned to normal, as they fished out a magic tool and talked silently
Gabe sighs and sits down, fiddling with something he had in his hand.
“Mawile.” The Mawile grins. “Wi-wile, maw wiiile!”
(Translation: “Chien-Pao’s a good ‘mon. But they still are the embodiment of a kingdom’s hate, so ypu should cut them some slack.”)
"I know that,"
Gabe says, still fiddling with the device whilst nemona walks over to chien -pao and smile, and they could sense themselves energy and the other ruination quartet on her.
Chien-Pao smiles back then says,
“Cleared for entry. Let’s make haste, if you wish to get the answers you seek.”
"got it. Let's go."
Gabe says, slipping the device in his pocket as he gets up
“But I shouls relinquish control before that Mawile gets the idea to-“
They glare at their teammate, the jaw now prepared to bite. And she was holding a portal gun.
“-bite.”
“Wile.”
"...right you've been controlling nozel"
“Maw. Wile.”
“I will, you little shit!”
“Mawile?”
As soon as the threat was made clear, Nozel was immediately back in control.
“…don’t ask. I do not want to know what rivalry they have.”
"me neither....Christ."
Gabe says, running a hand through his hair again.
“Although I was barely even conscious… these two must have thought that running a brigade was easy.”
“W-wile…” his Mawile flinched.
Chien-Pao looks away.
With the portal gun’s magic, a portal to the Heart Kingdom opened.
