“you’re a little young to be hanging out here.” He purred, lifting the bud of his cigarette to his lips. The prince only assumed the male was young from his apprentice, Grillbys was a bar after all. Then again he wasn’t one to talk, his body was eighteen after all. “You lost?” 

              ‘ excuse you. i’ll have y’know ‘m not that young at all. ‘ don’t believe him. despite his tall height, he still just hit his double digits in age. technically, age-wise, he’s still just a kid, but mentally he is not. he basically skipped his entire childhood. ‘ ‘m not lost. is it a crime t’ try t’find new places t’go to? ‘

In one hand was a hot dog, in the other was soda with extra ice. She was having a great day! She saw a really cool band, another was starting up soon – and there was TONS of food vendors. 

Well, she was having a great day, until she bumped into equally shocking blond haired person and.. spilled her soda all over them.

“Oh, no!’

         to be completely honest, he didn’t really wanna be there. but, well, his hatsune miku was doing a performance so he’s gotta tag along. fast forward to len just walking around being bored.

         ‘ oh, god damn-’ he pauses before the entire sentence leaves him, but he still glares down at his clothing. it’s white, his shirt is white. and now there’s soda soaked in it.  how great. he raises his gaze to look at the girl with narrowed eyes and downturned lips. he doesn’t actually say anything though, he just looks very displeased.

     “ I uh, really don’t know how to put this but I’m not all that mad. ” she gently insists with a persistent edge to her tone. Rather honestly, Vivian didn’t doubt for a second that had he not stopped, she would actually  RUSH  into him. Soon, a single brow arched at the mention of a sister. Though she was quite tempted to ask if that sister was named ‘Rin’ by any chance, the ravenette decided not to.

     “ Oh, does your sister also freak out over spiders too? I wouldn’t worry if it’s on the ceiling, though, since it isn’t very likely it would drop into her mouth while she’s asleep. ” Vivian spoke. “ Still, what a good brother you’re, to head over to her so  QUICKLY.  ” she adds. “ I would totally ask you to tell her I said ‘hi’, but welp, we’re still strangers, so I don’t think that would be entirely appropriate. ”

             ‘ ah, but i still feel kin’a bad.’ he’s a man with a good heart.. or, a robot? robots don’t even have hearts. he has a good heart though in figurative terms. even if he finds it hard to be completely nice and friendly all the time (he’s still kind of an asshole, but he’s trying). ‘ ‘m quite... tall, but i guess ‘m jus’ worryin’ over somethin’ that didn’t even really happen.’ shrugs.

                 ‘ rin’s not... very fond over any type of bug. once she saw a cockroach and nearly set fire to the house.’ that was an... interesting day. he wrinkles his nose at the memory. ‘ she doesn’t like going out durin’ the summer cos’ of it, especially out in like.. nature ‘nd stuff.’ he describes rin as his sister just because he doesn’t really feel like explaining the complicated relationship they technically have. it’s strange. ‘ if i don’t, she’ll probably won’t talk to me for a few weeks honestly. ‘nd i don’t think riri would mind honestly. she likes talkin’ to new people, or at the very least she’ll be proud of me actually talkin’ t’someone today.’

“If you’re really sorry, you wouldn’t have done it.” That in itself was logically flawed, but the way she spoke indicated she knew just as much. It could’ve been worse. She could’ve lost a leg or something first thing in the morning. A finger tapped at her cheek playfully, any annoyance quickly forgotten. “Hmmm, I’ll be so kind as to forgive you if you’ll treat me to a cup of coffee.” 

         ‘ ah, but i didn’t mean to? ‘ he’s a bit confused but he’ll try not to say anything that would make it seem like he was arguing. after all he’s trying to make it up to her instead of getting into an argument. he raises a hand to lightly rub his fingers right below his jawline. ‘ a coffee?,’ huh, he kind of expected something like ‘get me this ridiculously expensive thing’ but maybe that’s because he’s use to things like that because he’s.. famous. ‘that’s.. not bad, yeah i could do that. any specific places y’wanna go to?’

they haven’t spoken too much, but should it be an surprise that the android already regards him as a friend? ❛ len-san, here you go. ❜ botomiku tilts her head to the side curiously as she hands him a bag of bass clef-shaped chocolates. ❛ is... it alright if i give this to you? i suppose it’s presumptuous of me to assume you think of me as a friend, but i feel like we get along well enough? ❜ then again, maybe she regards people as friends too easily, and they may need more time. she's learning..

             ‘ a-ah geez. ‘ he ducks his head and raises a hand to swipe through messy blond locks. he’s embarrassed, but it’s because he hasn’t really gotten a valentine’s day choco besides the ones from his unit (no honmei choco for this banana guy). ‘ yeah, yeah it’s- it’s fine. ‘ he looks at the chocolate that’s in his hands, a small smile appearing as he sees the effort that had gone into the chocolates. ‘ thanks. i can consider us friends, yeah, i wasn’t expecting that though, but i don’t got any for ya’,’ pause. ‘ well, i guess that’s what white day is for? i dunno, but i think we do get along well enough. ‘ maybe not good friends, but maybe they’re on their way! who knows?

u should just do it. writing is v good for the soul~~ so many characters to play around with too given that vocaloids are just such a diverse thing tbh!! but imo rping it out also might help with fleshing out the characters, ye!! maybe instead of len being responsible for universe hopping it could be another mage that accidentally caught him up in their spell laughs. many possibilities when it comes to magic~

( i’m going to! at some point at the very least haha my magicka united story is v important to me tbh it revolves around a girl that i didn’t even mention in mage lenny’s post whoops

❛ quantity doesn’t equate quality. despite how many units there may be, you’re all different and unique in your own way. at least one person will hold you in high regard because of your uniqueness. ❜ she’s not the most eloquent in her words, but she does truly believe every vocaloid is important. ❛ is it a bad thing to be a ‘lab rat’ ?? what if it’s a purpose you can use to ensure that you are of worth to others if you cannot sing ?? ❜ if anything she learned helped her creators, she knew she could be content with just that. ❛ i see. then would you like to find out ?? perhaps we can just ask and they’ll tell us. ❜ didn’t hurt to not try, after all. ❛ … is there something wrong ?? is my hair out of place here ?? ❜ hands hovering about her forehead, she blinks at the curiosity given to her hair. one of the troublesome things about it was that it could just shift to one side and she’d never notice until she saw her reflection. ❛ i guess all i can do until then is promote the efficacy of bottle units. though there’s nothing really to do besides giving a home for aquatic creatures. not that i mind. they’re good companions to have. ❜

              he shrugs, not knowing exactly what to say. he seems very indifferent though, almost as if he doesn’t even believe her statement at all. (like no one holds him high regard, or cares about him enough). ‘ well, personally i don’t wanna be a lab rat. as far as ‘m concerned the company doesn’t give a shit about my personal life, and i want it to stay like that. i don’t want them observin’ me even more than they already do. ‘ it’s a personal thing for the most part. he was already made for singing, and that’s all he wants to do for them. anything else he just wants for himself. ‘ ah, ‘ve tried askin’ before, but they gave me very vague answers. ‘m not sure if they’ll do the same now, but ‘m not exactly that willin’ t’try again. ‘ no matter how large his curiosity is, he probably won’t do it. ‘ah, no, there isn’t anythin’ wrong.  your hair is jus’ interestin’ t’me i guess. ‘ he hasn’t seen anyone with hair like that, so he’s just intrigued. ‘ ah, well i hope that goes well. for you ‘nd the creatures. also, good companions? are they like, jus’ company or can y’actually talk to them and stuff?’

djfhdskjf that sounds heckin cool. it'd be very interesting to see a novel version ye to see the backgrounds of all the vocaloids and how they (along w/ others) would interact :00 making it a verse would be v cool 2

( i’m rly glad it sounds cool!! i’ve been wantin to write a novel at some point bc i always get so inspired abt it whenever i see popular book series (like harry potter that’s a major inspiration tbh) and with the vocaloid thing, i guess i just didn’t think abt it too much?? i also wanted to include how len doesn’t remember his early years and stuff- tbh i just wanted to write abt the universe

but w the verse thingy!! if i do make it a verse then im wonderin how mage lenny would interact w people bc in order for it to make the most sense, it would have to be set in that universe. aaaaaaa. unless universe hoppin was a thing but i dont think it is esp w fire mages )

         Rin couldn’t help the way she’s been feeling every time he was out on a date and or just out though it had to be that she was..jealous. “I’m sorry..Len-Kun I just..” She trailed off before feeling tears coming down her cheeks before she left the table before running up the stairs.

             She didn’t like telling Len to come home when she felt lonely but it was the fact that she wanted to be around him more, “..I want to be around him everyday..whats wrong with me?” She said sitting against the bedroom door before burying her face in her legs.

          he watched somewhat blankly as the girl flees. once rin was gone, he had sighed and shook his head. well, maybe he overreacted a slight bit, or maybe he should’ve used a different tone. he’s not good at talking about it though and he was just frustrated. he does feel bad though, so after a few minutes he just quietly gets up and goes upstairs. he pauses for a moment before he speaks. ‘sorry, rin-chan,’ look the honorific is back. ‘ ‘m really bad with words, okay? i know y’don’t like bein’ alone at all, but i guess there are times where i wanna be alone? or jus’ wanna meet someone new or somethin’.. i dunno, ‘m sorry tho’. i didn’t mean t’make y’cry. ‘

Whew, that was close. “ N-No, it’s fine. Happens to the best of us, really! ” Vivian hurriedly reassures him before slowly  STRAIGHTENING  herself back up.

     “ Though, why were you in such a hurry? Got a Pikachu in Pokémon Go to catch or something? ”

             ‘ ‘m sorry tho’. wasn’t payin’ attention.’ he’s repeating himself. does he care? no.he raises an arm to scratch his cheek as he smiles sheepishly. ‘ ah, well, my... sister really wanted me to do something, but i think it... might be just a bug or somethin’. she doesn’t like those. ‘ he was at the studios too, so what other reason would he get for rin yelling at him to ‘get home quick!’ ? who knows? he’s referring to rin as his sister because he’s not sure what else to call her. ‘or it could be we’re outta milk or somethin’, i dunno. she sounded urgent but she’s dramatic.’ that’s an understatement of the century.
