i'm going to be honest guys this has nothing 2 do with barbara besides being an event she can reference. thankfully i am the ceo of mondstadt lore and can do what i want. anyways this is the story of inspector eroch being a dottore segment.

eroch, the reclusive son of an obscure noble family, was at one point a real, living guy who just liked to keep to himself. everyone say RIP actual guy eroch, he probably did nothing to deserve this. inspector eroch was a dottore segment who stole his identity while on a self-designed deep cover mission to destabilize and demoralize the people of mondstadt. the character of inspector eroch did this by being a miserable, infuriating bureaucrat who you could not argue with at all because he was always just 'following procedure' and 'doing what's best for the people of mondstadt'.

the segment's designation was originally the Kappa build, and he was insanely pissed off when another segment crashed the party and invited questions about 'why does inspector eroch look like that weird masked freak that attacked us' (like any segment worth their construction materials, Kappa did not significantly change his physical appearance much from the original model. for their cover's sake, he take after his non-noble parent).

as we know from the webtoon, inspector eroch gets found out as a traitor (though not as a segment) and ousted. he was killed by another segment due to infighting shortly after. it was probably the Omega build because he sucks. Kappa is remembered for boldly answering the question of "what would happen if we let a segment be a method actor", and for still having people inside the Knights trying to gum up the works of the government. and succeeding!

hey everybody, i said this on twt already, but a few days ago i privated all posts made prior to the new year on both this blog and xiangling. this is not for any tangible reason i'd like to describe, i just have messed-up brain chemicals. nothing is deleted, just privated, so if there is anything that is meaningful to you on either blog/anything you'd like to continue, i am always able to un-private it.

according to bennett, who holds the dubious honors of both being the person barbara revives most often and the one she discovered she was capable of reviving people on (verse dependent), it feels like either being dunked in cider lake if cider lake was in dragonspine, or like one of the many times he's been struck by lightning, but without the excruciating pain.

basically, being revived itself is not painful, but pain is generally part of the experience. the act of reviving somebody doesn't actually heal their wounds, and barbara uses whatever is left of her power after the revival to heal anything imminently deadly. beyond that, well - she literally just reversed death. give her a minute to catch her breath. figure your own shit out.

fatui babs robot bird companion has a name: sherbert. no one has ever witnessed him speak but barbara understands him perfectly. he particularly helps on her recon assignments and also matches with her when she tilts her head 45 degrees to look at a problem. sherbert is easy to differentiate from other Evil Robot Birds because barbara repainted his fatui decorated "wings" to look like a merganser duck instead. much like all whimsical animal companions he is only relevant when i say he is.

worry not mischa fans she is alive and well. shes just jean's and jean takes very good care of her.

considering babs delightful animal companion mischa (grumpy but loveable elderly tortoise. passed down from her great aunt on seamus' side. for the uninitiated). obviously we know that in the canon timeline mischa lives in babs apartment unless she moves in with a loved one or into the traveler's teapot (both good timelines).

it then occurred to me barbara wouldnt have mischa in her fatuiverse. which is a crime because like all barbies she needs a creature companion in order to survive. and then toast introduced me to these fuckin things. behold: a man

name pending. i would say sorry fischl barbara has a cooler bird (robot) but they dont even know each other in this au.

much like barbie in almost every animated barbie movie, barbara is also constantly being tormented by a hot dubiously evil woman with dark hair and gothic vibes
