korra + breaking things
i forgot to write down who requested this. my apologies.
amachinist:
“ Tali. You can just call me Tali. ”
Her glowing eyes gazed towards the human. Finally, it wasn’t that awkward anymore. She could never escape it; awkwardness always seem to find her no matter where she goes.
“ Sorry if I startled you. I’ll be done and out of here once I gather some samples. ” she gestured her hand towards the large deposit of pure minerals behind her.
“Tali?” Korra repeated.
She shook her head, and smiled. “And I’m Korra. Sorry about that.. I just haven’t really seen anyone dressed like you before.” She stepped toward Tali.
“Can I help you?”
amachinist:
Given the human’s reaction, it would seem Tali has encountered an ‘unexposed’ person. She got that a lot, especially during her younger years. But it never fails to get awkward around her.
She tilts her head slightly, eyes shifting behind the mask.
“ Uh… yes. Hello. ”
The masked woman had a strange voice--almost filtered. She studied the other, holding her own arms. Eyes trailing elsewhere.
“Sorry..mnh.” She cleared her throat. “Who are you?”
“Great.” She sighed. This week kept getting weirder and weirder. Korra placed a hand on her hip and shifted her weight. “...Uh.” Words failed her, the figure before her was different.
eldestfrye:
Brow furrowed, a glance is shot in the stranger’s direction to catch a glimpse. Templar? Blighter? No. The woman’s wardrobe made her stick out like a sore thumb; light fabric dyed shades of blue with fur. No one that devoted themselves to the Order would dress in such a distinct fashion. If one were to survive an encounter with her–if she was a threat that is–they would remember. Evie holds her tongue a while longer, not wanting to risk anything until she was certain that there was no danger before her.
Arms crossed upon her chest. Her eyes trailing the figure’s attire. Korra wouldn't even begin to wonder who this woman was, based on her garb, at least. She didn't look like anyone from the Nations.
“Can I help you?” She posed the query hesitantly.
When Korra saw the hooded figure, her pulse quickened. The Avatar's flashbacks and visions of Amon were less frequent. Though the possibility was there, she had her doubts. She approached cautiously.
“Hello?”
