That seems to only make him annoyed, but he nods and stops blocking the front door. He can be heard mumbling something about Rory having weird friends, before disappearing up the stairs. Seconds later a totally different boy much closer to her age comes down the stairs. “Hello?”

She’s stuck fiddling with her hands for a moment as the other went back into the house, her attention turning upward to the other boy who came to the door.

“Hiya! You must be- uh... Rory, right? That other guy just only mentioned your name once, so i’m just assuming that’s you!” Keili exclaimed, pausing briefly.

“You call for a knight-for-hire? I’m certain this is the right address... I swear, if I got these numbers mixed up again-”

“...I dunno who that is- but let’s just assume ‘yes!’” Pointed ears twitching before she spoke, the knight-in-training just smiled to the person in front of her.

She grabs the blue hilt of her large blade, shifting the hulking weapon within its sheath upon her back for emphasis.
