Sweet smells
We did almost 20 miles on the tandem yesterday on the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail. Lots of walkers and cyclists oh and 5 equestrians. A beautiful day and the smell of honeysuckle in the air was magnificent.
Cleaned the bird camera... caught this beautiful house finch.
Another day with pinhole. I won't worry you with pinhole specs or times... just know this is fun for me.
Back to pinhole photography these are 2 separate images on film. 12 seconds for the 1st shot and 25 for the 2nd.
falling back into an archive folder... my friend Zinn Starr The amount of block and report I do seems a lot... I actually had to block "shakira0011" It's crazy I had to block her... she seemed so happy to meet me here and she is so horny... geesh I mean does that actually work?
RESPECT! Shit, I can't hit a golf ball on a tee much less hit a small moving ball from the top of a galloping horse.
I will probably post a few more from the Polo match. It would be cool to see a next level match. I am told there is much more action. We also got there late so maybe there was more earlier. OH the photo... I wondered if the horses and riders run into each other, or if horses or riders got hit with the mallet... didn't really think about the rider hitter their own horse with the mallet... but here you have it, nice upper cut.. The grandchildren managed to get some of the balls... there are pretty dented up, I will have to google and see what they are made of.
Craziness. Yesterday was stressful. Getting to see grandsons, youngest had a little league or whatever they call it here. 8 & 9 year old play baseball. They really improved a lot since last year. We only drive 3 hours each way, but its so stressful. The dogs don't travel well. We live much different lives than they do. We also went to a polo match, our 1st.
Hershey Gardens again.
Last nights ride 20.6 miles. 2 covered bridges which is pretty cool, but obviously at the bottom of some some nice hills. It was beautiful. Nice that they take some photos.
Chase and I waiting in the car for Izzy to be done at the vet. 3 x-rays and other testing result in basically an inconclusive result. So toss a dart and see. He got a hydration treatment and antibiotics and a shot for nausea. He is eating again and not needing to go out every couple hours.
Happy Mother's Day
Hershey Gardens, from last weekend. Sitting here waiting to call the Vet. Izzy has had diarrhea since Wednesday morning, but was eating the rice and venison, lots of attention out every few hours... but this morning, no appetite and he feels warm. His eyes look like he doesn't feel well either. Poor boy, we went through something like this with another dog "Amy" years ago. I believe it was stress related. My mother-in-law lived with us awhile. She had dementia and was stressful. Amy just stopped eating, tried forcing her with syringes, drugs to generate appetite... nothing worked... broke my heart. I said no more pets after that... yet here we are again... it is too familiar.
Purge of a portfolio... I am still in contact with many people that I have had the opportunity to photograph... it's interesting when you offer them free prints from their younger years... some thankful, some just a no thanks. Others could give a shit... Oddly it is a struggle to shred them, or toss into a recycle bin... but these will go away...
21 mile bike ride. Feel pretty good, not fast but I didn't die. Not bad on a mountain bike. Windy with some hills. One of the fast riders said good job at the top of the biggest hill, that was nice.
A few more photos from Kings Gap. These are selfie pinhole shots, obviously I am the one opening the camera... I mean I am shaky but not that shaky yet. OH, I now see that I didn't flip the 1st one. When shooting with a lensless camera there is nothing to flip and mirror the image. Lok like I was better with the exposures that last weekend. I watched a video that it is better to shoot film on a day with flat lighting, then add contrast in the darkroom. Not sure how that translates to paper negatives. Both of these exposures were 25 seconds... that is the reason we sat in the sun... if we chose shade it was almost 3 minutes.
