"Well if we go to the park across the street my mom has them over there and I know they would love to meet you I can't promise no squealing." she laughed "I think I will, I just wanna help the community any way that I can, I love to give back now that I have the means to do so."

"Their dad was a big San Jose fan so he used to take them to games before we got divorced, Savannah has your jerseys, I think you're her first crush and Sadie is the same way." Elena laughed a bit as she smiled "Well thank you, recovery even years on down the road can be hard, temptation is everywhere but I much enjoy to help people in recovery programs rather than being in one." she smiled "So I was thinking of doing like a food pantry at the Boys and Girls club, food insecurity is taking over so much of the country and even some of my daughters friends their families struggle, do you think it's something I should bring up to the board?"

"i wish i had the patience and focus to read books and actually finish them, but i get too bored. i finished three books in my entire life, and those were 'johnny angel,' the 'miss peregrine's home for peculiar children' series, and 'to kill a mockingbird'. i'm much more of a movie person and tend to enjoy them better. with reading, i'm like a squirrel trying to decide between two nuts," she said before nodding. "oh, born and raised. i've been here quite a while."

"well i did a stint in a inpatient rehab so all you could really do was treatment of course and some other things of course but i picked up reading and one of the extremely cool nurses brought me in Stephen King's books so I kinda became hooked." the woman smiled as she laughed a bit "oh goodness, really? I've only been here a few years but this place feels like it's been my home all my life, my girls love it too, it's a great place to raise them."

"My daughters would freak right now knowing I met you in the bookstore." she laughed "You're talking to a girl who lived from the Boys and Girls Club, I was raised with almost nothing, probably what started my stripping career, that then led to my drug habit but I'm long recovered so now I have a program with the club actually to help those who come from rough families or poor families, I'm a nurse and I do addiction counseling, so I get where you're coming from with wanting to help." she smiled kindly "I would love to pick your brain about so many things, you seem so smart."

"No way, you own that place? My girls love to eat there, it's always very good." the woman complimented and smiled at the man. "Hockey player turned business entrepreneur, I love that."

"i love the whole idea of the multiverse he has in most of his books. i was obsessed with the idea of maturin as a kid," she chuckled. "it's nice to meet you, i'm angel."

"i do too, he really is a wonderful author and his writing really can fuck with your head and then i see the movies and i get amazed at how perfectly they are brought to life." elena smiled "have you been in town long?"

angel smiled at the other, shaking her head politely. "can't say i do. i've never read it. in fact, i've never read any of his work. i've only ever seen his movies, and just a handful.;

"i also love the movies, i think i'm some kind of stephen king nerd." she said with a soft laugh "i'm elena by the way, should've probably introduced myself before asking the question about the book."

"this town just has everything, it's awfully big for a small town." she smiled and brought her hand out to meet his and shook it "Elena but you can call me Ellie." she said "have you been in town long, i've been here a few years and i don't think we've come across each other before."

"Thank you, I've been running around like a mad woman trying to get my kids ready for back to school that I thought a new book would help me remember I need some me time too." she said with a friendly smile "Do you know if they sell that one here or do I have to special order it?"

“ it’s all about team work.” He smiled and started getting dressed.” Shall we order take out?”

"It really is." she said with a smile "Sounds good to me, what'll you have?" she asked taking her phone out

“ My daughter is a daddy’s girl and she always wants to be around me. I spoil her too.” He grinned and nodded.” Wow that’s pretty cool, you gotta let them find their passion.”

"Aw, how sweet." Elena said with a smile rubbing his arm softly "Savannah loves gymnastics and Sadie loves tennis but as long as they get to be together they seem to enjoy the activities."

“ oh thank you.” He smiled and looked into her eyes.”your littles are lucky also.” He smiled.” Maybe basket ball.”

Elena smiled "aw thank you, if only my girls felt that way." she laughed "aw, cute, my girls play tennis, dance and do gymnastics, they wanna try soccer this year."

“It feels a bit weird but at the same time I don’t mind it, I love being a dad, I love everything about being a dad.” He smiled.” I can’t wait to do activities with the boys and play with them sports and stuff.”

"You seem like you'd be such a fun daddy to have, your littles are lucky." she smiled. "Aw, yeah I bet, what sport do you think you'll try with them first?"
